It might still technically be summer, but fall is right around the corner. Fall is my favorite season for a few reasons. Not only is the weather close to perfect, but everything else associated with it. The comfort food, fun activities, decorations, pretty red and orange leaves falling everywhere, how could you not love autumn? Even just a tiny bit. It’s also the season to bring out your favorite pair of ankle booties, sweaters, and all the cutest scarves sitting in your closet. If you’re looking for new fashionable scarves to invest in, why not start here? We have a list full of them!
Fringe scarves are easy to style and comfortable to wear. They also seem to never go out of style, so they definitely belong on this list. They’re perfect for those slightly chilly autumn days where you need an extra something to accessorize your outfit with. My favorite fringe scarves are the slightly oversized ones because they tend to look more stylish yet sophisticated to me.

What I love most about oversized scarves is how chic they look. You can even wear them past autumn and when the days start to get a bit cooler. If you chose to wear an oversized scarf, try wearing it with a wool coat or maybe even a leather jacket.

This stylish design of a scarf is perfect if you’re one who favors unique looks. They sit closer to your neck so they’ll keep you extra warm all the while giving you that stylish, comfy feel.

Plaid scarves should be at the top of the list for all fashionable scarves. The classic pattern is great for adding something different to your outfit, no matter the color scheme. If you’re someone that likes to match your scarves with the colors that you’re wearing, find a plaid scarf that accentuates those colors or do the opposite and wear subtle colors, using the plaid scarf for a pop of color instead.

These have to be one of my favorites. Wool scarves keep you warm all day long, along with complimenting your everyday walks. Pair it with a sleek low bun hairstyle and you’re setting all the trends.

Silk scarves are without a doubt one of the more sophisticated and classy of them all. They can come with designs and patterns on them too! If you want to add more personality to your outfit, then I highly suggest you purchase a silk scarf. It honestly doesn’t even matter what you chose to wear with it, you’ll end up looking stylish regardless.

Give this new style a try this autumn. A puffer scarf is not your average scarf, they come in all different colors, sizes, and materials. Velvet puffer scarves are my favorite because of how comfortable they feel against the neck, keeping you extra cozy on those cool autumn days when you most need it. The orangey color of the scarf below is also perfect for autumn!

Having multiple colors on a scarf isn’t for everyone, but they sure are cute! You can get as creative as you want with this look. If it were me, I would go for colors associated with fall, so anything with burgundy, orange, tan or brown.

The great thing about shawl scarves is how many styles they can take on. You can really wear one of these in whatever way that you’d like. You can wrap it around your neck or just let it casually hang over your shoulders, the choice is yours.
