Fall Wedding Looks To Try Out

Can you hear the bells? Because they’re still ringing! Summer wedding season may be over, but the fall wedding season is just around the corner and you’ll probably be invited to more than one. Don’t feel panicked though, fall weddings can be just as fun as those summer weddings, without the heat keeping you from dancing.  If you’re planning your own nuptials or happily participating in a wedding, you need to try out these fall wedding looks. From curling your hair with leaves, jewel-toned dresses that are to die for, and sweaters that’ll keep you looking formal, we have got your fall wedding style covered, so that you can grab a slice of cake and relax.

If you’re getting married then you should know your wedding day is the most important day of your entire life. Hosting your nuptials in fall will get you some amazing photos, and make a killer theme. The orange and red tones will compliment your white dress and make everything look romantic and warm. Although your photos will look great, you will probably be freezing. Don’t worry though, I have the perfect things to keep you toasty warm while you’re saying “I do!”

1. Twisting Leaves

Your hair is the centerpiece of your entire look. It doesn’t matter if you’re a bride wanting to step away from the traditional vail look or a guest wanting to add some flair to their wedding outfit, you can utilize your hair to spice up your look. To create this fall wedding look, you will need plastic crafting leaves or fall flowers, clips, hairbands, and a curling iron. Start by curling your hair, then pull your hair into a side ponytail. Twist your plastic leaves into the side ponytail, tucking the plastic tips into the hairband to create a more chic look.

2. Formal Motorcycle Jackets

Fall weddings can be beautiful, but they can also be a bit chilly. Unlike summer weddings you won’t have the hot August sun to keep your arms warm during those long nuptials. Enter the motorcycle jacket. This might seem like an odd choice for a wedding, due to their rough aesthetic. However, motorcycle jackets are short enough to show off your dress but thick enough to keep you warm. Not to mention most motorcycle jackets come in fall colors so you can match any fall color scheme.

3. Long-Sleeved Dresses

Your arms may be in amazing shape but it’s time to put the guns away because you’re covering those bad boys up in a long-sleeved gown. If you want to ditch your coat at home and stay warm at the wedding, then find yourself a gown with long sleeves for your fall wedding. Don’t fret, not all long-sleeved dresses will look like a tarp on you, find one that matches your body type and you’ll look as hot as the weather used to be.

4. Closed Toe Heels

You don’t have to wear heels to every fancy event you have this fall, they hurt your feet and aren’t always worth it. If you do want to wear them though, find a cute pair of closed-toe shoes. This way you can be a cold hard stunner in your stilettos without freezing your toes off. Closed-toe shoes are the perfect accessory that will complete your fall wedding look while keeping you dressed for the elements. If you’re worried about looking like a librarian, don’t be, you can find so many sexy pairs of closed-toe shoes that will impress that ex-boyfriend who for some reason is also at the wedding.

5. Old Hollywood Wrap

Chilly fall weddings may require you to layer up. To avoid looking frumpy under all those layers, opt out of the boring sweater game and opt into the old Hollywood wrap look. Wrapping yourself up in a beautiful silk, fur or chiffon wrap, you will feel like you’re in at an old Hollywood premiere party. Meanwhile, you won’t be freezing your balls off at your best friend from highschool’s wedding.

6. Tights Under Your Dress

If you’re planning on wearing a dress with lots of layers and is not skin tight, then this tip is perfect for you! Slip into a pair of thick tights before you put your dress on. No one is going to see what is underneath your dress and this way your toes and legs can stay warm, even if the wind picks up under the dress. If you’re really worried about the look of black tights under your dress, don’t worry, they come in white too!

7. Fruit Decorated Cake

Flowers are the usual go-to cake decoration. It makes sense; they’re beautiful and come in almost every single color so you are sure to find some that match your unique theme. For your wedding, though, I think you should mix it up and decorate your cake with fruits and gourds. This will make a simple white cake pop with autumn colors like red strawberries, orange pumpkins, and dark brown leaves. Although most of these fruits will be purely decorative, they will still make your cake look amazing and stick to your fall wedding theme.
