Fall is the time to break out your knit sweaters, your boots, and your favorite pair of ripped jeans. However, fall is also the time to experiment with cute nail designs. Personally, I love getting my nails done to match the season. If you’re looking for some nice ombre nails, just a little sparkle, matte or a cute little design…here are 20 fall nail ideas that you should definitely try out to get into the fall spirit!
Matte nail polish is cool and it always looks so smooth. I also love the golden leave sparkle on the two nails. These nails scream fall and I also am obsessed with the coffin nail shape!
There’s a lot going on with this design, but I love the colors and everything seems to work together. The pinkie nail with the rhinestones is unique and a good idea. Also, the one sparkly gold color sets the tone to a more festive, autumn mood.
Usually, I’m not a big fan of the color orange, but it looks good in this design. I like how the sparkles offset the orange and the line of sparkles down one of the nails is super cute and trendy.
These nails incorporate all the fall colors with each nail featuring a different fall hue. I like this idea, especially with the matte layer.
The orange sunflower is so well done! It’s amazing to me how someone could draw a flower so beautifully on a nail. The rhinestones also add a sweet touch.
Olive green is such an underrated fall color in my opinion. I am usually one for coffin nails, but he stiletto nail shape really looks good in this picture.
Red wine is such a popular fall color and it looks AMAZING in matte. I know people are hesitant to get rhinestones because they fall off easily, but if you buy some extra nail glue they can actually last longer.
Ombre nails are gorgeous, especially with these fall colors. The sparkles make it even more eye-catching. Is it obvious that I love getting nails with sparkles?
Watching the marble nail tutorials on YouTube is addicting and I still don’t fully understand how it works, but it still turns out in the cutest pattern. The orange marble is something unique and should be tried out more often.
Instead of opting for the sparkly leaves, why not try drawn on leaves? Normally you wouldn’t think of dark blue as a fall color, but these nails definitely still look fall-ish.
Fall also includes Halloween so if you like to celebrate spooky season these nails are perfect! The glassy spider web nail and the dark black nails will get you in the Halloween spirit.
It’s like leaves falling off a tree…only with glitter. These nails will look great as you are holding your Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks.
It amazes me how detailed the tree and leaves falling off it are on these nails. I know, being a non-artist, if I tried this myself it would look like a giant blob instead of a tree.
Another complicated design to show your nail technician, but it’s cute so totally worth it. Normally I wouldn’t think getting a pumpkin on your nails would be considered stylish but after looking at this design I would totally get this for my next Thanksgiving dinner.
Whether you have acrylics or just regular length nails, this design is perfect to try out. If you just want something simple and stylish, I would definitely get these nails.
I love getting chrome nails because they’re so shiny and the way they apply the color is so awesome. It’s basically like a powder that goes on your nails and creates such a cool hue.
The maroon matte color is to die for. Also, the triangle design makes these nails even more appealing.
These nails are sleek and so professional. There may not be some sort of fancy design, but the colors mesh well together and it already stands out enough as it is.
The Burberry pattern is so in. Even though I own nothing from Burberry, I would still get these nails inspired by their pattern.
As soon as fall hits, it’s basically already time to get ready for Halloween. These black and dark red ombre nails will best prepare you for Halloween. In my opinion, I think these would go great if you want to dress as a vampire or a witch.
Fall is the beginning of a new school year, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. There is so much to love about fall including the color scheme and the food. Getting my nails done with fall colors and designs makes me more excited and ready for the season. Choosing the right polish and design is definitely a whole ordeal for me thanks to my indecisiveness. I hope this list helps narrow down your choices on your next trip to the salon so you don’t spend the five minutes before your appointment searching through Pinterest frantically. Fall nails are the best way to get yourself ready for the holiday season. Why wouldn’t you want your nails to look amazing as you are buying another Pumpkin Spice Latte and walking on your way to your new classes? Even though I live in California and there really are not typical seasons here, I still try to get in the fall spirit by getting my nails done. These are just some nail ideas that are as promised…cute AF.
