Fall nail designs are in! Your summer acrylics are old and dated. They looked good when you first got them done for the ball or the graduation, but now they’ve grown out and they need a facelift (or nail lift, so to speak.) Whether you’re a beginner or accustomed to nail designs, here are a few fall nail designs to spice up your whole look.
The perfect blend between simple and complicated, ombré effect nails are fairly easy to achieve but add a lot more flair than a singular color design. Use a trio of red, orange and yellow to create the look. Though you can stop at this stage, add a little more by creating reverse gradient leaves.
Matte and simple, this little fox amidst the leaves will give your nails some character. If you’re a fan of freehand, this is the look for you. This is one of the best fall nail designs.
Can’t be bothered to do nail art that you’ll inevitably ruin within the week? Try black tips that fade into matte burgundy nails. Very quick to do, and also easy to redo should you mess it up and be pushed for time.
A pop of color never hurt anybody. Act like you know what you doing (on one nail, at least) by painting a wavy line design on your ring finger whilst leaving the rest matte brown.
The color of the season, autumn and orange go hand in hand: leaves, pumpkins, catching the sunset at just the right moment. The easier alternative to tartan and just as eye-catching. Mix with classic Halloween figures to spook the look up a few notches.
A classic choice of design that’s appropriate year round, it only takes some practice to nail tartan design. Mix with reds, oranges, greens, or all of the above to make it seasonal. This is one of our favorite fall nail designs!
Like the look of black polish but too dull to consider wearing it on its own? Use stripping tape and paint over it to create this scribble effect. Boring no more. And less nail polish wasted.
Khaki seems to be everywhere and yet nowhere at once. Switch out your typical warmer tones for this dark and stark contrast. Your nails will never clash as both colors go with everything.
With autumn comes inevitable downpours. Commemorate this fact with this cool water droplet design. Funnily enough, no real water will be involved! The water droplets are created with the use of a glossy top coat.
If all else fails, grab a glitter polish of your choice, a makeup sponge and create glitter tipped nails. Pair with any color and you’re good to go!
