10 Fall Inspired Cocktails You Need In Your Life

Fall is infused with pumpkin spice, apple, and pecan flavored foods and drinks. But have you ever considered autumn theme cocktails? Well, you should because they’re pretty neat and delicious. Many combine some of your favorite fall fruits and desserts into drink-form. Imagine drinking pecan pie? The thought is intriguing and mouth-watering at the same time. There are so many different alcoholic autumn blends, but these are 10 fall-inspired cocktails that you are going to want to be sipping on this season!

1. Pumpkin Spice And Everything Nice

Love pumpkin-flavored everything in the fall season? This is the drink for you!

Ingredients: 1 can of Bacardi Mixers, Cup Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum, 1 cup orange juice, 5 dashes of Angostura Bitters, 1/2 tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice, 4 cups of ice

Directions: Place all these ingredients in a blender.  Blend on high for about 10 seconds or until smooth. Pour into a cocktail or martini glass. Garnish with a dash of pumpkin spice and serve. Who needs the PSL this season when you can get your pumpkin fix from this cocktail!

2. Pecan Pie Martini

Is pecan pie one of your favorite treats of the season? Why not try drinking it in this cocktail?

Ingredients: 1 ounce of pecan flavored vodka, 1 ounce of Irish cream liquor, 1/2 ounce of vanilla vodka, 2 ounces of heavy cream, 3 tablespoons of liquid caramel, 1/4 cup of toasted chopped pecans, and a sprinkle of cinnamon

Directions: Place caramel and toasted chopped pecans on separate small shallow plates. Dip the rim of each glass first into the caramel and then into chopped pecans to coat. 4 count pour pecan vodka, 4 count pour Irish cream, 2 count pour vanilla vodka, 8 count pour heavy cream, into your mixing tin. Close shaker lid or mount your pint glass. Shake. Strain the contents into the martini glass. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon and you’re ready to serve this divine drink!

3. Caramel Apple Mule

Caramel apples are not just a sweet fall treat, but you can also enjoy the dessert in a classic mule!

Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces of caramel vodka, 3 ounces apple cider, 3 ounces ginger beer, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, and a slice of apple

Directions: 6 count pour caramel vodka mixed with the apple cider, ginger beer, and lime juice poured over ice. Stir. Then place an apple slice to garnish the drink. And you have yourself an autumn-friendly beverage!

4. Pear Sour

Pears are one of those classic fall fruits. So those of you who are both lovers of pears and sours are going to want to check this one out!

Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces of pear liquor, 2 ounces sweet and sour mix, 1 1/2 ounces lime juice, a dash lemon-lime soda, pear slice

Directions: 6 count pour of pear liqueur, 8 count pour of sweet and sour mix, and 6 count pour of lime juice into your mixing tin. Close tin with its cover or pint glass. Shake. Strain contents into a martini glass, and top off with some lemon-lime soda. Finally, add a pear slice as your garnish. You’ll want to be sipping on this sweet drink throughout the harvest season!

5. Pumpkin Spice White Russian

A White Russian is already it’s a sweet drink to be sipping on, but add a little pumpkin spice and the drink gets a little touch of autumn!

Ingredients: 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice, 1 ounce heavy cream, 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of coffee liqueur (most likely Kahlúa), whipped cream, and chocolate syrup 

Directions: Shake the pumpkin pie spice with the heavy cream. Add this mixture, along with an 8 count pour of vodka and a 4 count pour of Kahlúa into a rocks glass with. Top off white a little whipped cream and some chocolate sauce and you have just made yourself a tasty drink!

6. Apple Cider Mimosa

Love apple cider? Also, love a mimosa? Why why not combine the two in this fall-inspired cocktail!

Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon, 1 cup of apple cider, 1 bottle of champagne

Directions: Dip champagne flutes in water and then line the rim with sugar and cinnamon. Fill the flutes with a 1/4 of apple cider and top them off with champagne. And voila you have a delicious cocktail to sip on a crisp fall morning!

7. Sage Fig Cocktail

Figs are often the forgotten fruit of the fall and if you’re a fan, this will be one drink you’re not going to want to miss this season!

Ingredients: 2 black mission figs halved, 2 ounces of white rum, 1 ounce of Grand Marnier, 1 ounce of sage-infused simple syrup, 1/2 lemon juiced, ice, club soda

Directions: Muddle the figs into the mixing tin. 8 count rum, 4 count Grand Marnier, 4 count simple syrup, the juice from lemon and ice into the same tin and shake. Strain contents into an iced filled rock glass. Top off with some club soda. Garnish with a fig on a toothpick and have yourself the perfect fall cocktail. 

8. Cranberry Margarita

Cranberries mixed with some tequila? Can anyone think of a better combination?

Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounce of tequila, 1/2 of triple sec, 1/2 ounce of lime juice, 1/2 ounce of cranberry juice, sugar, lime wedge

Directions: 6 count of tequila, 2 count of triple sec, 2 count of lime juice, and 2 count cranberry juice into your mixing tin loaded with ice. Close mixer top of add on your pint glass in order to shake. Shake. Strain contents into a margarita or rocks glass with sugar around the rip. Garnish with a lime. 

9. Long Island Apple Iced Tea

Long island iced teas are really made with coke, so just replace the coke with a little apple cider to get this masterfully-made cocktail!

Ingredients: 1 ounce of triple sec, 1 ounce of white rum, 1 ounce of gin, 1 ounce of apple vodka, 4 ounces of apple cider, 2 ounces of lemon-lime soda, apple slices, and ice

Directions: 4 count pour of triple sec, 4 count pour of white rum, 4 count pour of apple vodka, 8 count pour of lemon-lime soda, and then add in the 4 oz of apple cider into your mixing tin full of ice. Secure with your pint glass or shaker top. Shake. Strain then from your metal tin to the pint glass. Garnish with an apple slice and you have yourself a beautiful looking fall-inspired cocktail!

10. Cidertini

This is a new take on a classic apple martini!

Ingredients: 6 ounces of apple cider, 2 ounces of butterscotch schnapps, 2 ounces of vodka or gin (depending on preference), ice, apple slices for garnish

Directions: 8 count pour of vodka or gin, 8 count pour of butterscotch schnapps, and then add in the 6 oz of apple cider into your mixing tin loaded with ice. Stir the contents. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an apple slice and you have yourself a new twist on an apple martini!
