8 Fall Cocktails To Try At Your Next Happy Hour

Who doesn’t love a good cocktail? While we all have our favorite go-to drink, we can grow bored of the same thing over and over again. With fall just around the corner, it’s time to shake up your happy hour menu and try out these 8 fall cocktails everyone will be obsessed with! It’s the season of change, why not apply that to your happy hour as well?

1. Blackberry Margarita

Ingredients:

  • Blackberry juice or Red Jacket Blackcurrent Apple juice
  • Black salt
  • Tequila
  • Triple sec

For this blackberry margarita fit for any vampiress, you’ll first need to hunt down your first kill: blackberry juice. This can be difficult to nail down so you can make blackberry juice yourself if you own a juicer or opt for a blackcurrant apple juice like the one from Red Jacket.

Believe it or not, this is just a simple margarita! The dark color only adds the Halloween touch! Follow your favorite margarita recipe and mix one part tequila, three parts juice, and a half cup of crushed ice! Garnish with fresh blackberries, black salt, and a stir stick! Craft stores and baking stores will have spooky cupcake toppers that will do the job perfectly!

2. Pumpkin Spice White Russian

Who doesn’t love a White Russian when the temperatures drop? And since it’s pumpkin spice season, why wouldn’t you combine two of the most delicious things?

For this cocktail, all you need is vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream — just like a traditional White Russian! To make this cocktail perfect for fall, all you have to do is switch the regular creamer for pumpkin spice creamer, simple as that!

Top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon to really make your cocktail stand out among the rest! Trust us, this will be one of your new go-to fall cocktails!

3. Poison Apple Cocktail

Ingredients: (serves 1)

  • 1/3 cup of apple cider
  • 1/3 cup of cranberry juice
  • 2 oz. of fireball
  • 1 oz. of grenadine
  • 1/4 teaspoon of edible gold glitter
  • Ice

Not only is this cocktail absolutely gorgeous, but it is perfect for fall and Halloween, and it’s quick to make! As an added bonus, you can make this for a Halloween party and make a virgin version of this drink as well and just remove the fireball!

To make this drink, combine all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake until the mixer is frosted, this should take around 30 seconds. Then, all you have to do is pour and serve! Easy!

4. Fall Harvest Sangria

Ingredients: (serves 6)

  • 2 Honeycrisp apples, chopped
  • 1 bartlett pear, chopped
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds or cranberries
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of white wine
  • 2 1/2 cups of apple cider
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1 cup of club soda

Who doesn’t love sangria? Whenever I go out, I will always get the sangria. Why? Sangria is always delicious. However, sangria is typically seen as a summer or winter drink, rarely is it seen as a fall drink. But, if you’re anything like me, you are more than happy to keep the sangria coming all year long!

This is a fantastic drink to make for parties and get-togethers as it is pretty easy and you only need to make one batch! Start by chopping up the fruits and placing them in a pitcher along with the cinnamon sticks and pomegranate seeds.

Next, pour the wine, apple cider, and vodka into the pitcher with the fruits and cinnamon and mix well. Allow the flavors to marinate for several hours in the fridge then add club soda right before serving. Easy as that!

5. Apple Cranberry Moscow Mule

Ingredients: (serves 2)

  • 4 oz. of vodka
  • 1/4 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 sparkling apple juice
  • 2 ginger beers
  • Fresh cranberries to garnish

Moscow mules are classic and incredibly easy to make. Adding autumnal flavors such as apple and cranberry can make this favorite one you can have even in the fall!

To make this super simple cocktail, fill two glasses with ice and add the cranberry juice and vodka. Next, add the sparkling apple juice to the mixture and top it off with ginger beer. Gently stir and top with cranberries for the perfect fall cocktail!

Not only are these glitter cocktails gorgeous but they’re also super tasty as well! And, as an added bonus, this cocktail is incredibly easy to make!

In a cocktail shaker, mix the simple syrup, lime juice, and black vodka together. Fill the shaker with ice until the liquid line and shake well for around 30 seconds. Before pouring your concoction into a glass, add a dash of edible glitter or pearl dust to the bottom of the glass. Pour cocktail into the glass and stir to combine! If your Black Magic isn’t shimmery enough for your liking, add some more glitter and mix!

8. Pumpkin Patch Punch

Ingredients: (serves 6-8)

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup of orange juice (fresh)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh)
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin butter (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz. vodka
  • 4 oz. brandy
  • 2 bottles (12 oz) ginger beer or sparkling water
  • Arils from 1 pomegranate
  • 2 thinly sliced apples
  • Cinnamon sugar (garnish)

This one is similar to sangria but with an autumnal twist! To make this festive fall cocktail, combine the apple cider, lemon juice, orange juice, pumpkin butter, vodka, and brandy in a large pitcher. Allow the flavors to marinate for a couple hours in the fridge before serving.

When you are ready to serve your punch, add in the ginger beer or sparkling water, pomegranate arils, and apple slices. Rim your glass with cinnamon sugar and fill with ice and pour! Adult punch has never tasted so yummy!
