5 Fall Candles To Keep Your Space Cozy All Season Long

Fall candles are the perfect home decor pieces to amp up your space and amplify cozy vibes all season long. Finding the perfect scents to set that mood is crucial to enjoying fall in your space!

1. Bookshop Candle- Home and Hearth with Magnolia

As a lover of books and someone with a degree in English myself, I am a sucker for any candle that is book-related in theme and scent. This bookshop candle is from Chip and Joanna Gaines’  line sold at Target, specifically, their decor section called Home and Hearth with Magnolia. The scent contains notes of sandalwood, patchouli, and cedar, while the neutral, gray-colored jar allows the candle to go with a variety of decor styles and color schemes. There are multiple sizes available of this candle, ranging from 6.2 ounces all the way to the largest size, which is 15.8 ounces. This candle feels incredibly luxurious and burns for up to 55 hours, making a great option that will last you all season long!

2. Mulled Cider Candles-Mainstays

If you are trying to get a little more bang for your buck, Walmart’s collection of candles from the brand Mainstays has a great selection of fall candles as well. With notes of apple, cinnamon, clove, and orange, this candle is a nice, spicy scent that is sure to warm up your space and make it smell so incredible that people will definitely ask you what candles you have burning. These candles are the most budget-friendly candles that I have come across to date, starting at $3.33 for an 11-ounce candle. It has the ability to burn for approximately 70 hours, which makes this candle a deal that you will not want to miss out on! Larger sizes are also available for just a few more dollars, literally, including the largest candle which is 20 ounces and retails for the extremely low price of $6.48. These candles are so cost-effective, you will not have the slightest amount of buyer’s remorse after purchasing one or even a few candles! If you are in the market for more than one Mainstays candle, I also recommend the Farmhouse, Warm Fall Leaves, Apple Pumpkin, and Alpine Forest candles. If you are living someplace that does not allow you to burn candles, such as a college dorm, for instance, do not fret! Walmart also offers a wide selection of wax melts, including the mulled cider scent. They even have a wax melt that simply plugs into an outlet, which is a gadget I definitely used when I was in college as a little loophole to the no candle rule.

3. Marshmellow Fireside-Bath and Body Works

Now, this candle is my personal favorite to buy every single year! As far as fall candles go, Bath and Body Works has become the one-stop-shop. With notes of toasted marshmallow, woods, vanilla, amber, and essential oils, this candle will transport you to a campfire with friends and family on a chilly, fall evening. From wallflowers to candles, lotion, body spray, Bath and Body Works has got you covered for all of your fall scented necessities, even if you are unable to have a candle in your living space (I’m talking to you, college students). The candle itself is also incredibly adorable in regards to themed packaging, with fall landscapes and warm-colored jars, these candles with not only make your living space smell good, but it will also make it look good as well. The prices of candles at Bath and Body Works can be a little on the expensive side, at least more so than the candles available at Walmart and Target. The large, 3-wick candles have a retail price of $24.50. However, there is a smaller size available, a 7-ounce candle that retails for $14.50. Also, I have often seen Bath and Body Works run a sale on the smaller, 7-ounce candles, usually, a buy one, get one 50% off deal, which makes the purchase more feasible.

4. Spiced Pumpkin-Yankee Candle

You just simply cannot go wrong with a classic pumpkin scent for fall, and Yankee Candle has some fabulous options at a great price. Spiced Pumpkin is one scent, in particular, that is able to encapsulate practically everything about fall in one candle, with notes of spiced clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, orange, and of course pumpkin as the name advertises. From the start of fall in September all the way through October and to Thanksgiving dinner in November, this candle is the ideal fall scent for the traditionalist. The smallest candle size offered in this scent is 11 ounces, has a burn time of about 20 or 30 hours, and retails at approximately $11. This glorious aroma comes in a classic, glass jar with lid, giving it the ability to match any sort of decor with any color scheme that you may have in your home.

5. Crisp Morning Air- Bath and Body Works

Seeing as Bath and Body Works is basically the fall candle emporium, I could not just pick one scent from their fall collection to share with you. My other staple besides Marshmallow Fireside is a scent called Crisp Morning Air. This fall candle has less of a sweet scent than Marshmallow Fireside, and more a crisp, fall leaves scent as the name suggests. With notes of white oak, amber wood, fall breeze, sandalwood, and essential oils, this scent is light enough to have burning during all of your daily at-home activities. With the same various sizes as the Marshmellow Fireside candle, this fall candle also comes in clear, glass containers, there is certain to be a candle that fits your budget! This scent would make the perfect pairing with the Marshmellow Fireside candle when Bath and Body Works runs their buy one, get one for 50% off the retail price if you are looking to get more value for your money and have a few scents to choose from for the fall season.

These fall candles are guaranteed to cozy up your living space and fill the air with a splendid aroma! Which fall candles are your favorites? Let us know in the comments!
