10 Fall Beverage Recipes Everyone Can Enjoy

There’s no need to dillydally on trying some nice Fall beverage recipes. The key to a good Autumn drink is in the feeling. For summer, you want something cool and refreshing with a hint of lemon. For Fall, you want a varying degree of drinks to match the weather. Is it cold out? Concoct a beverage that will scald your mouth for the 12 days leading up to Christmas. You’ll want the drink to enhance whatever you’re doing. The relief that comes with the first sip is more than worth it.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Let’s get this one out of the way. Pumpkin spice lattes are a dime a dozen among the drinks, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t good. They’re just common. But you aren’t! The traditional route has you go with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Pumpkin purée is the hallmark of authenticity for this drink. I personally like whole milk added to my Fall drinks.

You’ll want to add some finesse to yours—the way to do this is with the espresso. You can substitute it with strong coffee. Turkish coffee would be a great addition to this recipe.

Hot Cocoa

Everyone loves hot cocoa, and it’s best to drink it as winter approaches. There are a variety of ways to make this drink. You can liberally add things like cinnamon sticks, whipped cream, peppermint, or Baileys. If you’re in a café mood, add some coffee for a little kick. Add some chocolate drizzle for that double-chocolate goodness.

Caramel Apple Punch

Caramel doesn’t seem very refreshing, but once the apple is there, it makes for a glorious amalgam. In this simple recipe, we add a real apple slice to the concoction.

Scarecrow Punch

  • 1 part apple cider
  • 1 part pineapple juice
  • 1 part ginger ale
  • Add (optional) vodka and apple slices
  • If you fancy yourself a spices-person, feel free to add some cloves. Voila!

Spiced Rum Cider

Ciders can play both roles: refreshingly cool or spicy hot and crisp. Rum adds zest to your drink. A little burn with your cider means that it’s working. While you don’t have to add alcohol to this drink to get the spices out of it, it’s a great way to remember that you’re in charge of your day. A great recipe can be found here.
