10 Eyeshadow Palettes From The Drugstore

Eyeshadow palettes are typically one of the most expensive makeup products. At Sephora, we can find them priced anywhere between $30 and $239! What if I told you that there was a way for you to get high-quality eyeshadow palettes for a fraction of the cost?

I will share my secret with you. Head to the drugstore! Target, CVS, Ulta, Walgreens, you name it. You can find palettes for as little as $3 at the drugstore, and the quality is great. Keep reading for ten eyeshadow palettes from the drugstore to try out!

1. NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Eyeshadow Palette

NYX’s Ultimate Shadow Palette is one of the best on the market. This product comes in seven different shades. You can find bold colors, nice neutrals, the list goes on. One palette retails for $18 and you get 16 highly pigmented shadows.

I own the “Brights” palette which is filled with bright colorful shades. It is great to have on hand when going for a colorful look or when you want a little pop of color.

2. Morphe 35O Supernatural Glow Artistry Palette

Morphe is one of my favorite brands for inexpensive, but great quality makeup. Their 35O palette is the perfect neutral palette. You get a great mix of matte and shimmer shades too. It retails for $26 and it comes with 35 shades. That’s less than 75 cents per shadow! You can shop Morphe at Ulta.

3. E.L.F Mad For Matte Eyeshadow Palette

E.L.F is an amazing brand for when you are on a budget. You can get some of their products for as low as $1! Their Mad for Matte Palette costs $10 and comes with 10 shades. As you can probably tell from the name of the palette, all of the shades are matte. This palette gives you the ability to create either bold or subtle looks.

4. Makeup Revolution X Friends Forever Flawless Eyeshadow Palette

If you love the TV show Friends as much as I do, then you will love this palette. It’s $18 dollars for 18 shades, and there are two different color palettes to choose from. The one entitled “I’ll Always Be There For You” is more of a neutral palette, and the “We Were on a Break” palette is filled with colorful shades.

The shade names on these are perfectly fitting with the Friends theme as well. Some of my favorite names are Chandler’s Job and Share Food. Another one of my favorite features from these palettes is the packaging. The neutral palette has the couch in front of the fountain from the theme song, and the color palette has Monica’s door with the yellow frame.

5. Colourpop Fade Into Hue Eyeshadow Palette

Colourpop has a ton of great eyeshadow palettes, and their Fade Into Hue palette is one of my favorites. This is full of abstract colors, so if you want to create a fun and colorful look, this is a palette to check out! Fade Into Hue also offers a mix of different shadow formulas. There are mattes, pressed glitters, shimmers, and metallics.

It retails for $34 and comes with thirty shades.

6. E.L.F Cosmetics The New Classics Eye Shadow Palette

This palette from E.L.F is $14 and comes with 18 shadows. The shades are a mix of warm tones and cool, and you get matte, shimmers, and satin finishes. This palette is a great dupe for neutral palettes from high-end makeup companies. The shades feel super buttery, and they have great color payoff.

7. Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette

This is probably the palette I use most in my own personal collection. Jaclyn Hill is a popular makeup YouTuber, and she collaborated with Morphe to make this palette.

It retails for $39 and comes with 35 shades. There is pretty much every color imaginable on this palette. You’ve got your neutrals, pops of color, metallics, shimmers, mattes, and satins. This is a great palette for a makeup artist to have in their kit because you can do so many different eyeshadows looks with it. The quality of the shadows is amazing as well. The black shade in this palette is my favorite black I have ever used. I have yet to find one that is more pigmented!

The shade names were personally named by Jaclyn, and she has a youtube video where she explains how each of the names came to be and gives swatches of each color. Check it out!

8. Colourpop Stone Cold Fox Palette

The Stone Cold Fox Palette is another neutral palette, but it is filled with cool tones. It comes with thirty different shades, and you can find grays, blacks, whites, cool-toned browns, purples, and silver shades. You also get a mix of matte and metallic shades. If you are into cool tones, this is definitely the perfect palette for you. You can do a simple everyday look with it, or a super glam look.

9. L’Oréal Paris Paradise Enchanted Scented Eyeshadow Palette

I am drawn to this palette because of the fact that it is scented like fruit. Besides the great smell, it also has some beautiful shades as well. There are ivory shades, pink tones, and some browns. It is a great palette for neutral and natural eye looks. You get the 12 shades for $15.

10. E.L.F Bite Size Palette

You can probably tell how much I love E.L.F based on how much I have mentioned them today. Their Bite Size palette is probably one of the best bargains you will see at the drugstore, in terms of makeup. This palette is only $3, and it comes with four different shades. There are also different color palettes you can choose from. They have a few neutral palettes, two pink-toned ones, green, and an orange.

The eyeshadows themselves are super pigmented and blendable. The palette is quite literally bite sized, so it is perfect to travel with, or to throw in your purse with you for touch-ups.
