Everything You Need To Know About The Rice Purity Test

The Rice Purity Test was originally created by students at Rice University to test a person's purity. This is everything you need to know before taking it!

The Rice Purity Test is an online college survey originally used by students at Rice University. According to the website, the test is used from orientation throughout college life at Rice to see how much sex, drugs, and debauchery a student gets into during their time there which can be found here. This test is supposed to be a “bonding experience” with students, but it seems like it would create a lot more tension, especially if someone is uncomfortable participating in the survey. This is the Rice Purity Test broken down into 5 parts.

1. The “pure” scale is from 1-100

The lower the number, the more “pure” you are.

2. The questions get aggressive quickly and range from simple acts like kissing to felonies

The survey starts out slow, simply asking about things like holding hands and making out and then leads to drugs, arrest, and threesomes. It is a little confusing how any of it really relates or defines a person.

3. There is no true definition of “impurity”

The test never really explains how much each question equals out to or where any of the results come from.

4. Half the questions have nothing to do with being pure or not

Gone skinny-dipping and french kissed? God forbid.

5. The results don’t give you anything but a red bolded number

Your result is literally a red number that you hope ends up somewhere between 1 and 100 with zero explanation.

And somehow, you cannot resist from taking the test and seeing how pure the students of Rice think you are or not. The Rice Purity Test is interesting to say the least. May the odds be ever in your favor.
