5 Easy Hairstyles To Try When You’re Running Late For Class
There’s bound to be a point in the semester when you oversleep. It’s inevitable. To help you still look cute on days when you’re running late to class, we’ve come up with a list of 5 easy hairstyles to try!
1. A Ponytail With An Easy Twist
If you want to have your hair up but want something a little nicer than a regular ponytail, dress it up with this easy hairstyle. Simply French braid a section of your hair back and tie off with a small elastic, then throw all of your hair in a ponytail. If you have the time to, you can take a piece of hair and wrap it around the ponytail to hide the hair elastic. But this would totally look cute without that. You could totally do this with just a regular braid if you’re not able to french braid!
2. Easy Braided Pigtails
Throw it back to the good old days and put your hair in two braids. This is a totally underrated hairstyle! It’ll keep your hair out of the way without you having to worry too much about making it neat. The best part is it’s easy enough to re-braid your hair later so if they start falling out or if you catch your reflection and don’t like what you’re seeing. You could make these even cuter by tying them off with pretty hair ties or scrunchies. You could also dress make these a little more interesting by trying a different kind of braid, like a french braid or a dutch braid!
3. Twisted Double Buns
Want your hair back and off your face but want a more unique look? Twist your hair back on both sides and tie it off into two buns. Pin it with bobby pins or bun pins to help them stay. This is an easy hairstyle that won’t take too long! Dress it up with scrunchies or a cute headband if you want to add some pizzaz. This is a great twist on the classic bun. It’ll keep your hair out of your way and off your neck without pulling too much on your head like a traditional bun or ponytail might.
4. A Half-Up Pony With A Braid
If your hair is looking nice but you don’t feel like wearing it completely down, try this half up with a braid. It’ll keep your hair out of your face while you’re in class but you can still have your hair mostly down! All it takes is a french braid tied off into a ponytail at the back of your head. Again, if you have time, you can wrap a piece of hair around the ponytail. Otherwise, you can use a hair band that matches your hair or add a bow, scrunchie, or hair tie in a color that works with your outfit! This is an easy hairstyle that’s versatile and easy to achieve pretty quickly!
5. A Half-Up With A Little Bun
Not so confident in your french braiding skills? Try a low pony with a little bun at the back of your head. This is a great look if you’re looking for something more casual. If you’re going for something that looks effortless, this is a safe bet! You can totally throw some pins in this to keep it in place, but if you don’t you’ll end up with a more undone look which would also be super cute! This would be an easy hairstyle for any length of hair!
