The green screen is going to be your friend as a new photographer. You will be able to take photos and learn to edit the background on your own because you’ll always have your green screen to work with. With a greenscreen your backdrop possibilities are endless. You are going to have so much fun playing around with backdrops and learning how to use the green screen that you will be a pro in no time.

Since you are only a new photographer you will want to gather the equipment you need right away to get started. If you are aiming for cool effects on your photos you want to get some different lenses for whatever device you’re shooting on. Take Advantage of the Weather

Did a rainy day ruin the photoshoot you were planning? Well, just roll with it! As a new photographer, you have to be able to adapt to your surroundings when it comes to unexpected things happening during a photoshoot. There so many possibilities for a rainy day photoshoot! You could take a picture behind some glass and get a raindrop portrait. You could splash a puddle just as a picture is being taken to add a cool effect. You could simply just take a picture of someone standing in the middle of the storm. If it’s the dead of winter and all you see is snow then take photos of friends in color outfits to contrast against all the white. The weather can be your friend if you let it. Don’t let the weather affect your shoot, instead turn it into something different and use it to your advantage. 

Use Fairy Lights

Gorgeous and affordable fairy lights are a great addition to any indoor photoshoot. As a new photographer fairy lights are going to be a great way to up your photography game. Have them wrapped around your subject for a beautiful and colorful glow. You could string the lights in the background just to have them blurred out and your subject in focus. You could even keep the fairy lights close up to the camera and just blur them out so you can see the subject peaking through. It’s such an easy hack but it makes for stunning and glowing pictures any new photographer could take.
