10 Easy Appetizers To Bring To Your First Post-Quarantine Hang Out

The United States is slowly but surely opening itself back up, and sooner or later we will be allowed to have parties again! Make sure you get the invite to all of the hottest hangouts this summer by being the talk of the party with some delicious and easy appetizer recipes! Here are 10 of my favorites.

1. Veggie Cups

An incredibly easy appetizer that is sure to impress is a cute little cup willed with dip and veggies. Grab-and-go apps are always the most popular and most enjoyed at the party.

This is so easy to put together, too. Get some veggies (you could even get them pre-chopped) like celery, carrots, peppers, and tomatoes. Dollop a little bit of your favorite veggie dip into the bottom of the cup and place the veggies right on top of the dip! That’s it!

2. Cowboy Caviar

Another delicious and easy appetizer, this time in the form of a dip, this Cowboy Caviar. Here’s how easy it is to make this barbeque favorite. Combine chopped tomatoes, avocados, bell pepper, jalapenos, corn, cilantro (or skip this if you’re like me and vomit at the thought of it), black beans, lime juice, Italian dressing, garlic, and salt. Add as much of each ingredient as you want! I personally like more avocados in mine. Don’t be afraid to make it your own!

3. Southwest Chicken Egg Rolls

These may seem a little bit intimidating, but I promise that they are not. These are so simple to make, and you will fool everyone into thinking you are the next winner of Chopped! These are great at barbeques and are delicious with a ton of different dipping sauces! They also go wonderfully with some chips and salsa, or even some Cowboy Caviar!

4. Buffalo Chicken Dip

The appetizer to end all appetizers. If you’ve never had buffalo chicken dip, I honestly feel sorry for you. Nothing in this entire world can compare to buffalo chicken dip. Making this delicacy is something you’ll want to have under your belt for your post-quarantine gathering, and beyond. Once you make it, you’ll never stop making it. My family likes to put a twist on it and switches ou the buffalo sauce for a hot sauce with a bit more of a smoky taste, and it is absolutely incredible!

6. Party Poppers

These little buddies are so good and so easy to make! Bell peppers are one of my favorite foods to transform into a delicious and easy appetizer, and these are at the top of my list. They kind of take on the same idea as a jalapeno popper, just colder and not as spicy! I’m not a huge bacon person, so I skip that ingredient when I make these myself, but add whatever you think would be good!

These are so colorful that they will be the main attraction of the food table and will catch the eye of every hungry party guest. Enjoy these creamy, crunchy, and dare I say healthy party snacks while the peppers are still in season!

7. Grilled Pineapple with Coconut Rum Sauce

Wow. Take a second to let what you just read sink in. Imagine a nice, fresh, warm pineapple, fresh off the grill, in your hand, dipped in coconut rum sauce. Nothing sounds like a better date to a summer party than a tray filled with pineapple ready to be torn apart by your friends. I bet you won’t even get to put the tray down on the table before someone takes one!

8. Grilled Naan Pizza with Strawberry Chicken and Avocado

My favorite combination is chicken and avocado, so it really doesn’t matter to me what is accompanying it on a flatbread. But strawberries with it, it is godly. This app is so easy to make and is a party pleaser every single time! This recipe will make you feel like you’re eating out at a restaurant, but you’re actually just in your parents’ back yard trying to convince them you have everything figured out. Once they taste this, they might finally believe you!

9. Spinach and Artichoke Dip

This recipe is only 3 ingredients! Good luck trying to convince everyone that asks you how you made this that it was only t3 ingredients. This dip is always the first to go at every one of my parties, and for good reason. I like to serve this dip with tortilla chips and call it a day! My friend that usually brings this to the party is not allowed through the door if this isn’t in her hand. It’s pretty good!
