1. Get a headboard:

Do you want a quick and inexpensive way to make your bed look like an entirely new piece of furniture? Then purchase a headboard. Soft, padded headboards instantly glamourize and revitalize the whole room in one step. After all, the bed is usually the center of every bedroom. You can find a couple different kinds on Amazon for under 100 dollars. Like I said definitely do for the tufted style of headboard; it looks so cute in pale grey or white.

2. Buy new throw pillows:

I think everyone can agree that more throw pillows are always best. When someone feels like they need to do a whole bedroom makeover, or change up any room, one of the first things they’ll usually think of is adding some new throw pillows. You definitely do have to get rid of your other ones. Have the new pillows accent the older ones or store the older ones in a closet for another season. Throw pillows can also bring aspects of your personality into your space, making them great conversation starters. Also, having more comfy pillows on your bed to help you sleep, or even just feel like your room is homey, are great feelings too. When in doubt, get more throw pillows.

3. Add an accent chair:

A great way to spice up your bedroom’s decor is to add an accent chair. Choose a color that compliments your room’s overall color scheme. Or you coup pick one that contrasts the room in just the right way for a bold look. You could then easily turn the chair’s space into a lounging or reading corner; complete with comfy throw pillows, string lights, and some of your favorite books. Just adding a pop of color to your bedroom with a stylish accent chair can really give the whole room an upgrade. As long as the chair is comfy and cozy, it doesn’t really matter what color it is.

4. Hang new wall art:

Adding wall art to any room can do wonders for the space, and this is even more true for the bedroom. Wall art not only helps pull a room together, but it also says something about the occupant of the room. You can tell what a person really values by what they choose to hang on their walls. Whether it’s abstract art, paintings they made themselves, or professional photography, you’ll definitely be able to start a conversation with a person just based on their walls. Along with wall art, adding some new pieces of bedroom decor can always freshen up your room. Not only do they look nice, but it also feels really good to be surrounded by things that mean something to you. Maybe it’s just me, but I like to see myself reflected in my space and it makes me happy when I can look at my room or closet and see myself in all the little things. Whether it’s house plants, curtains, interesting lights, or cute little statues, as long as it represents you it will make perfect decor for your bedroom makeover.

For a way to give your bedroom a makeover at little to no extra cost to you, organize or clean out your closet. A fresh closet is a fresh start for your whole room in my opinion. You could buy some stylish storage bins and hangers, or just use some that you already have around your home. Then, when your closet is cleaner and more organized, you might be able to fit some other things into your closet for easily accessible storage. So, cleaning your closet can be the start of your whole bedroom makeover!
