Drugstore Dupes For High End Makeup

Buying new makeup can be tons of fun. It allows you to experiment with new products and try out different looks. Seeing high end makeup advertised in commercials, magazines or makeup tutorials can make you want to go to your nearest Sephora and spend your whole paycheck. Unfortunately, high end makeup can be pricey and definitely isn’t budget friendly. Luckily, there are plenty of drugstore dupes available for high end makeup that are sure to fit within your price range.

1. Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter

Highlighters are the latest makeup trend. It seems like everyone is talking about these products from brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills and BECCA. Thankfully, there is a cheaper, but just as great product that comes from the brand Makeup Revolution. They have a line of baked highlighters that are extremely pigmented and give an amazing glow wherever they are applied. I found out about this amazing product after Khloe Kardashian recommended it in an interview. The best part is that this item comes with a lot of product and is only around $6. It works just as well as higher end products and gives you more bang for your buck for sure. This brand is sold at makeup stores like Ulta and can be found online as well.

2. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss

Lipgloss is one of several makeup products that I cannot justify spending a lot of money on. Drugstore brands offer such great variations that there’s really just no reason to spend more than $10 on a lip gloss in my opinion. Rihanna’s Fenty Gloss Bomb and Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits are all the rage right now. However, you can find just as great products at a cheaper price point. This Revlon lip gloss comes in 8 different colors. The color Super Natural gives a beautiful natural shine that is comparable to the Fenty Gloss Bomb in the color Fenty Glow. The best part is that this lipgloss is only $8.49 on the Ulta website. That is less than half the price of other high end lip glosses that give the same exact look.

3. Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation

This is definitely one of the best drugstore foundations that I’ve tried out and it’s become a staple in my makeup collection. This formula is comparable to the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. It’s an oil-free and lightweight foundation that provides build-able foundation. It is also suitable for sensitive skin and does not cause breakouts or skin issues. It gives a natural finish and is easy to apply without looking too cakey. This is a great foundation option because it comes in a variety of shades, so it’s perfect for nearly any skin tone. This foundation can be found at nearly any drugstore, or stores like Target or Ulta. It can be found for under $10, which is an amazing deal for a foundation. The majority of high end foundations cost more than $30, so choosing a drugstore dupe for  this category will save you a lot of money in the long run.

4. Morphe 9C Jewel Crew Eyeshadow

This eyeshadow pallete from Morphe is a great value. It comes with neutral and extremely wearable everyday shades. There are also a few fun and shimmery colors for when you want to experiment with some more daring looks. This pallete has a variety of colors that will help you achieve nearly any eye look. You can’t go wrong with buying this pallete full of natural brown, burgundy and light purple colors. There are also a selection of matte and shimmer colors for you to choose from. Buying high end palletes can be extremely expensive. Often times, the palletes also include colors that you don’t like and don’t want to use, so it ends up being a waste. This Morphe drugstore dupe features only extremely wearable colors. They are also pigmented and easy to apply and blend. Morphe offers great eyeshadows for a low price. Although Morphe isn’t technically a drugstore brand, they offer drugstore prices, which is why I included their product on this drugstore dupes list. This particular Jewel Crew pallete can be found online on the Morphe website for only $12. $12 won’t even get you a single eyeshadow from the majority of high end brands. This pallete is truly a great deal because you get 9 amazing shades for a very low price.

5. L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Original Mascara

Mascara is another makeup product that I prefer to buy from the drugstore because there is such a great variety of options available at a lower price. This particular L’Oreal mascara has been my go to mascara for years. It is comparable to the Benefit They’re Real mascara, but since it’s one of the drugstore dupes it is available at a fraction of the price. This mascara does an amazing job at separating and lengthening your eyelashes. You can achieve the look of having false eyelashes on in just 2-3 coats of this mascara. Advertisements say that this product can give you the look of 60% longer lashes, which I definitely believe. This mascara is easy to apply because of its comb like applicator, which helps separate lashes and avoid the mascara from clumping. There are also waterproof and regular formulas, so you can choose whichever one you prefer. This mascara can be found at any drugstore. It is available on the Target website for the great price of $8.49, which really can’t be beat.
