I know that sewing is not something I’m particularly good at, so when I came across this really easy way to make a pillowcase without having to sew or measure anything, I thought it’d be perfect to share. All you need is some fabric and the pillow you want to cover, and scissors to cut the fabric.
When you cut the fabric, it should be three times as wide as the pillow and two times as long. You’ll want to give yourself a couple of extra inches both ways as well. Place the pillow in the center.
Fold the bottom half of the fabric to the center of the pillow.
Now fold the top half so it meets the other half of the fabric.
Fold each side so it makes a triangle, like as if you are wrapping a present. See the picture for clarity.
Bring both of the sides in to the middle of the pillow.
Make a square knot with the two sides to hold it together, and there you have it! It even looks good both ways, with the knot in the front or in the back.
