Fall. A season of vibrant colors and fun holidays. It is the perfect time of year to create a beautiful and unique tablescape, with a crowning centerpiece. Centerpieces are the key to any great table and are a great conversation starter. And they can be a super fun and easy activity to do with your family and friends. So, here are our 5 favorite DIY Fall centerpieces.

Corn, Beans, and Lentils in a Vase

Yes, these common household foods can be used to create a beautiful centerpiece. All you need to do is buy the aforementioned food items (dehydrated), an orange or white candle, and a nice footed vase. Then simply layer the corn, beans, and lentils and set the candle right down in there. It is a simple and yet really pretty fall centerpiece.

Pine cones

Pine cones are a staple of Fall and can be used to create this simple and awesome centerpiece. All you will need is a big wood bowl, a bunch of pine cones, a pretty big footed vase, an orange or white candle, and a couple of mini pumpkins (totally optional). Set the vase down in the bowl and stick the candle inside, for some extra fun you can set the candle on top of a mini Cinderella-type pumpkins, then just surround the vase with the pine cones and mini pumpkins. Super cute, and a perfect representation of Fall.

Pumpkins

Of course, pumpkins made this list, but these are no ordinary pumpkins. These are pumpkins that have been carved in an unusual way, they have actually been drilled. Gone are the days of the frustrating pumpkin carving that never turns out how you imagine. All you need for this is a drill and a pumpkin. It’s just that simple! And screams Fall! These are classic DIY fall centerpieces!

All you’ll need for this is 4  Mason jars, a rectangular wooden crate, 4 white candles, and some decorative Fall leaves. Just place the candles in the jars, and then place those in the crate and surround the jars with the leaves. Simple, but beautiful. The perfect way to describe Fall. Halloween

This is where you can have a butt-ton of fun! And there are so many things you can do! The most fun centerpieces that I have seen in the Halloween theme have been all of the ones involving candy, I mean who wouldn’t love those? It’s candy! Any who, this is what you do: get a tall vase, a crap ton of candy corn and candy pumpkins, a bunch of decorative branches, and black paint. Then load up the vase with the candy corn and pumpkins, and do this in any way you think is the most fun. Now, onto the branches. Take them and paint them black. Once those have dried, stick them down into the candy for a super fun and not a too scary centerpiece. Now that you have seen these examples go forth and do! And put your own spin on these ideas for even more fun centerpieces. That is what DIY is all about, seeing something and doing it your way and having fun while doing it. Fall is a season of rich colors and fun holidays. So this is the time for awesome DIY centerpieces that everyone will love and want for themselves. This is the season to have fun, and even a little creepy once October rolls around. Pumpkins, candy corn, real corn, leaves, and pine cones were made for making these fall-themed centerpieces (OK, not really, but go with me), so use them thusly. Fall-themed centerpieces for the win!
