Allrecipes

The website Allrecipes has a delicious fried ice cream recipe that is the perfect gooey dessert for any late night snack, with a crunchy topping and served with whipped cream and cherry. The recipe calls for a quart of vanilla ice cream, three cups of crushed Cornflakes, a teaspoon of cinnamon, three egg whites, and two quarts of frying oil. The first step is to scoop eight balls of ice cream and freeze them on a baking sheet for an hour. Next, in one bowl, combine the crushed corn flakes with cinnamon and in another bowl, beat the egg whites until they foam. Then, roll your ice cream balls in the Cornflakes mixture until they are completely covered and stick in the freezer for three hours. In a deep fryer, heat the oil to 375 degrees fahrenheit. Using a basket, dip the ice cream balls in the dryer for 10-15 minutes until they are golden brown to then serve right after.
