DIY Chevron Soles

Brighten up your favorite pair of black heels by making a chevron pattern on the sole! It’s very easy and isn’t very time-consuming at all.

Materials:

  • Nail polish of your color choice
  • Tape
  • Pair of heels

1. Line the sides of the soles with tape, so that there won’t be any damage to the rest of the shoe

2. Use the tape to form the chevron pattern stencil on the bottom of the shoe. Just cut small pieces of tape and place them in a zig-zag pattern.

3. Use the nail polish to paint along the outline of the stencil you just created

4. Repeat these steps toward the top of the sole. You may need to start cutting the tape into smaller and narrower pieces so that you don’t end up peeling off a layer you’ve already painted.

5. Let the nail polish dry, and wear
