Dip Recipes For A Glorious Game Night

Dip recipes are the highlight of an exciting game night. I know it’s all about the game, the team, the thrill of what’s taking place, but the food makes it so much better. These recipes are also great for ladies’ nights, parties, etc. They are always a hit at the event. This selection of tasty dishes is made to have your taste buds exploding with flavor to fuel the spirit of good old fun. Here are a few dip recipes for a glorious game night.

Spicy Creamy Corn Dip

Spicy, creamy corn dip has a nice spicy kick. It is cheesy and the ultimate party appetizer to add to your favorite dip recipes. This corn dip has a mouthwatering combination of creamy, cheesy spiciness. It is easy to customize and tone down if you don’t like the spice level.

Ingredients

  • 10 slices bacon, diced
  • 3 cans (15 oz each) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/3 cup chopped jarred jalapeños, drained (optional additional chopped fresh peppers)
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 cup grated or shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 6 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • additional sliced green onions for garnish
  • minced fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Spray a 6 qt slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.  Add corn, jalapeños, mayo, pepper jack, mozzarella, parmesan, salt, and pepper to slow cooker and stir.
  2. Top with cubed cream cheese, cover, and cook on LOW for 2 hours.
  3. While corn dip is cooking, cook bacon in a skillet over MEDIUM-LOW heat until crisp.  Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
  4. Uncover, stir until well combined.  Leave uncovered and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes, or until dip is thickened to desired consistency.  Stir in half the bacon and the 3 sliced green onions.
  5. Serve garnished with remaining bacon, additional green onions, minced parsley or cilantro, and a sprinkle of black pepper if desired.

Crack Chicken Dip

This crack chicken dip is my new favorite obsession. It’s highly addictive and full of cream cheese, sour cream, bacon, spices, and more that you won’t be able to stop talking about it or eating. You’ve been warned this dip recipe is yummy with all the right flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 (7 oz) can fire-roasted green chilies drained
  • 4 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • shredded chicken
  • 1 (1 oz) package dry ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • salt to taste
  • Serve with ritz crackers or tortilla chips and top with green onion and crumbled bacon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the cream cheese, mayo, and sour cream until smooth in a large bowl.
  2. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, minus the “optional for serving” ingredients.
  3. Cover and place in the fridge until ready to serve!
  4. Taste and re-season, if necessary.
  5. Top with minced green onions and more crumbled bacon.
  6. Serve with crackers and chips!

Vegan Lasagna Dip

Dip recipes are supposed to be fun and creative, and this vegan lasagna dip is perfect for bringing enthusiasm to your event. The dip is meaty without the meat. It definitely adds an incredible amount of pazazz and surprise to your guess, but good surprise as it’s jam-packed with tasty flavorsome qualities to jump-start the party.

Ingredients

Vegan Meat Layer

  • vegan butter or oil (3 Tbsp)
  • diced white onion (¾ Cup)
  • minced garlic (3 Tbsp)
  • chopped red bell pepper (1 Cup)
  • chopped green bell pepper (1 Cup)
  • cooked lentils (4-7 Cups)
  • steak seasoning (5 Tbsp) (McCormick Brand)
  • Italian seasoning (2 Tbsp)
  • smoked paprika (3 Tbsp)
  • tomato sauce (1 Large Jar or 3 Cups)
  • tomato paste (¼ Cup)
  • maple syrup (2 Tbsp)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Gluten-free lasagna (chips for dipping)

Parmesan Sauce

  • vegan butter or oil (3 Tbs)
  • coconut cream or plant milk (2 Cups)
  • gluten-free flour (1 Tbs)
  • vegan parmesan (⅓ Cup) (Follow your Heart Brand)
  • onion powder (1 Tbsp)
  • garlic powder (1 Tbsp)
  • Italian seasoning (1.5 Tbsp)
  • nutritional yeast (1 Tbsp)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Toppings (Follow Your Heart brand)

  • vegan mozzarella
  • vegan parmesan
  • vegan feta
  • chopped basil or parsley

Instructions

  1. For the meat, layer saute, season the vegetables, add in the lentils and other liquid ingredients, mix well and cover to let it simmer until the bell peppers are tender, then add to a large baking dish.
  2. Next, mix the ingredients together for the parmesan sauce heat until smooth and creamy. Add this to the top of the lentil lasagna layer (vegan meat layer).
  3. Add your cheesy toppings and bake the lasagna at 450F for 5 minutes. Using your spatula, lightly smooth out the cheese toppings to make it melt together, then bake for 2-5 minutes.
  4. For the lasagna, chips cook until chewy and firm al dente and cut into squares or rectangles, then lightly coat with vegan parmesan, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika with a splash of water bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes or until crispy. Flip and add more seasoning to your taste.
  5. Serve and Enjoy!

Note: The lasagna chips could also be made in an air fryer with light oil or fried.

Buffalo Dip

Buffalo dip has never been so beautifully savory with spice and everything nice in my book. This dip recipe is gooey and glorious. Who wouldn’t want this at their tables in their bellies? It is pretty delectable and one of the best recipes you’ll enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds of chicken (shredded) can be rotisserie or cooked, whichever you prefer
  • 1/2 diced onion
  • 2 packages of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (optional, just add ranch to substitute)
  • 1 pack of ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese
  • 1 cup franks hot sauce or buffalo sauce of choice
  • salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and place your cream cheese on the counter to soften
  2. Shred a rotisserie chicken and remove the bones and skin and cut into bite-sized pieces
  3. Dice and saute your onion in a tablespoon of butter until translucent, then add the chicken, ranch, ranch packet, blue cheese, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix the cream cheese until well incorporated, and then the hot sauce and half of the shredded cheese. Save the rest for topping.
  5. Taste and add additional seasoning if needed, then top with extra shredded cheese and place in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onion and serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
  7. Enjoy!
