20 Destinations To Travel To When Coronavirus is Over
Around the world, there are many Destinations To Travel to when the coronavirus pandemic is over. Once everything goes back to normal, I personally want to take a long, relaxing vacation.
While we don’t know when the coronavirus pandemic will be over, you can spend some of your free time cooped up at home by planning for your next adventure! Make a personalized bucket list of the Destinations To Travel once everything goes back to the way it was before the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic began. Compiling a bucket list of destinations to travel to will help you regain your wanderlust.
Please note that all of the destinations to travel to that are listed in this article are both domestic and international.

1. Greece:
The beautiful beaches, incredible views, architecture, history, and cuisine play a huge role in why Greece is one of the most popular destinations to travel to in the entire world! While in this European country, the best places to visit are Crete, Santorini, Athens, and Mykonos (depicted in the photo below).
2. Hawaii:
Another one of the top warm-weather destinations to travel to includes Hawaii! The best islands to visit are Maui, Oahu (depicted in the photo below), and Kauai. Regardless of which of the Hawaiian Islands you stay at, take in the area’s natural beauty, clear ocean waters, and exquisite cuisine.
3. Los Angeles, California:
The warm weather, beaches, fashion, Hollywood Scene, and killer culinary scene are all part of what makes Los Angeles one of the most popular destinations to travel to in the entire world.
4. Buenos Aires, Argentina:
The capital of Argentina is a beautiful and charming city that has a lot to offer. Spots to visit while in Buenos Aires include La Boca neighborhood, Casa Rosada, and the Recoleta Cemetery.
If you plan on visiting Buenos Aires, note that this city is located in the Southern Hemisphere. From the perspective of those residing in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s a real treat to visit the Argentine Capital in the winter as, during this time, it is summer there.
5. Cancun, Mexico:
One of the most popular destinations to travel to when in Mexico is Cancun. It is also one of the top destinations to travel to during spring break. Besides partying at the beaches and drinking margaritas, tourist spots to hit up while in Cancun include taking a day trip to nearby Tulum, shopping in Downtown Cancun and the Hotel Zone, and exploring the Cenotes.
As the coronavirus pandemic occurred right in the middle of many college students’ spring breaks, Cancun should be one of the destinations to travel to once everything goes back to normal. Many young adults can enjoy that spring break vacation they either had to cancel/didn’t get to go on as a result fo the pandemic.
6. Rome, Italy:
In general, Italy is one of the most visited countries in the world for its fashion, history, architectural landmarks, museums, wine, and rich cuisine. Regardless of which city you end up exploring in Italy, you won’t be disappointed in all of the country’s aspects that I listed above. There are many popular destinations to travel to in Italy and one of those places includes Rome, the country’s capital.
Among the most popular tourist attractions to visit while in the Italian capital include The Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Centro Storico & The Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona, to name a few. When in Rome, be sure to also check out some of the city’s most underrated spots and hidden gems.
7. London, England:
Each year, London ranks highly as one of the most beautiful and most popular destinations to travel to. London attracts a lot of visitors each year for its’ history, cuisine, museums, famous landmarks, successful Premier League teams, and fashion scene.
8. Las Vegas, Nevada:
Nicknamed “Sin City”, Las Vegas draws plenty of visitors year-round for its casinos, gambling, weather (the state of Nevada is all desert) nightlife, shows, and amazing restaurants.
I turned 21 in February and was supposed to go to Las Vegas to celebrate with my family. However, due to my dad having shoulder surgery and the coronavirus happening, I never got a chance to go and celebrate the occasion. Once the coronavirus is over, one of the first destinations that I plan on going to is Las Vegas, for a belated 21st birthday celebration.
9. Miami, Florida:
Along with Cancun, Miami is also another one of the top destinations to travel to for spring break. The nightlife, warm weather, beaches, and culinary scene are amongst the city’s best attributes. South Beach will definitely not disappoint you.
10. Burano, Italy:
As I said earlier, whichever city you end up vacationing in while Italy, you won’t be disappointed with the country’s fashion, history, architectural landmarks, museums, wine, and rich cuisine. One of the most underrated destinations to travel to in Italy is Burano, which is nearby Venice.
The picturesque city is famous for its brightly colored homes and its lace shops. While in Burano, take a stroll along the canals and enjoy a nice meal at one of the many waterside restaurants. Don’t forget to check out the leaning bell tower of San Martino.
11. Paris, France:
Another one of the most popular European Destinations to Travel includes Paris, France. Tourist Attractions to check out include the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, and the Arc de Triomphe. The City of Love draws tons of visitors each year for its’ history, architectural landmarks, rich cuisine, and museums.
Besides those aspects listed above, Paris is also a destination that you should go to and visit once the coronavirus is over for its rich fashion scene! The French Capital is part of the big four fashion capitals of the world and some of the best places to go shopping there include L’ Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Les Passages Couverts (click here to see which passages you should definitely check out while in Paris), and Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, to name a few.
12. Marseille, France:
Besides Paris, another one of the most wonderful destinations to travel to in France after the coronavirus is over is Marseille! Located on the Southern Coast of France on The Mediterranean Sea, the nation’s second-largest city is a highly underrated tourist attraction as a result of the influx of tourists visiting Paris.
Vieux Port is the hotspot of Marseille and located in the center of the city, where people can look at the clear blue waters and beautiful boats docked on the shore. Other attractions include Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica and La Musee Cantini. Be sure to try some Bouillabaisse, the city’s most famous seafood dish, during your stay.
13. Savannah, Georgia:
The beautiful scenery, cuisine, cobblestone streets, and old-fashioned riverboats are all part of the Southern Charm that attracts many tourists to come and visit Savannah, Georgia.

Head down south to New Orleans for mouthwatering cuisine, and amazing nightlife and music. Stop by the famous Cafe Du Monde for the best beignets you will ever eat in your life and try some jambalaya!

The best beaches to go for a swim and relax at in/near Melbourne include Brighton Beach, Williamstown Beach, and St. Kilda Beach, to name a few. The best time of year to go to Alberta, Canada is in the winter due to the lack of crowds and most importantly, its’ beautiful scenery during that time of year. One of the most popular destinations to travel to on the East Coast of the United States during the summer is Martha’s Vineyard. The affluent and picturesque island offers charming and peaceful vibes.
There are a plethora of options to choose from for deciding where to stay, from renting cottages and/or houses by the beautiful beaches or staying at one of the island’s nicest hotels or boutique hotels.
