7 Desserts To Make With S’mores Ingredients That Are Just As Good

S’mores are the best dessert to have in the summer, especially if you make them over the fire while camping. But sometimes you want the s’mores without sitting in front of an open flame. Try these amazing desserts to make during the summer this year!

Nutella and s’mores taste a lot better together than you would think they do. These are good desserts to make when to want a s’more, but you don’t want the campfire, and you want to eat them quickly. Enjoy these brownie-like desserts!

  • 9 full sized graham crackers, 1 sleeve
  • 1 cup and 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 sticks of unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of Nutella
  • 1/2 of a 7-ounce jar of marshmallow fluff

Steps:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grind the graham crackers in a food processor until finely ground. Process until the mixture is finely pulverized, with no lumps. Mix the cracker meal with the flour and set aside.

2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract and blend well. Add in the graham cracker mixture and fold in until well combined.

3. Press 2/3 of the dough into a lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan. Using your fingers, spread the dough evenly across the pan so it covers the entire bottom. Spread the nutella over the dough.

4. Using a small spoon, dollop the marshmallow fluff evenly across the nutella. It doesn’t need to be spread out, but make sure it is evenly spread out over the top. Crumble the remaining 1/3 of the dough over the top. Use your finger tips to break it apart into small pieces and scatter it evenly across the surface. It’s okay that some of the marshmallow pokes through.

5. Bake for about 35 minutes, until lightly golden and puffed up a bit. Let it cool a little before cutting it, if you want even squares. But they taste really good while they’re warm.

6. S’mores Dessert Pizza

This is one of my favorite desserts to make. It tastes so good, and it is so easy to make. It takes a while, though, so if you want a s’more right away, I wouldn’t recommend making this pizza, but it is still worth a try this summer!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of salted butter
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup of milk chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate sauce for drizzling

Steps:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13-inch pizza pie pan with nonstick spray. In a medium bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup of graham cracker crumbs, flour, and baking soda.

2. In a medium bowl with a stand mixer, cream together the butter, sugars, and salt. Slowly add in the egg and vanilla and mix until creamy. Add in the dry ingredients and slowly mix until fully combined.

3. Using your hands, press the dough firmly into the bottom of the pizza pie pan. Use a fork to pierce the dough all over, about 20-25 times.

4. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the crust begins to brown and is baked through. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with one cup of chocolate chips, leaving a rim around the outside untouched (it’s the crust).

5. After about 3-4 minutes, the chocolate chips will have melted enough for you to be able to use a spoon to spread it out, like pizza sauce. Spread out until smooth. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup of graham cracker crumbs, then the mini marshmallows and remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips.

6. Place under a broiler set to high for 1-3 minutes or until the marshmallows are just browned. Watch closely so the marshmallows don’t burn. Remove from the oven and drizzle with chocolate sauce.

7. Brownie S’mores Dessert Trifle

Trifle is one of my favorite desserts to make, and making a s’mores centered one is even better. This is another dessert that takes a long time to make, but it makes a lot of servings, so it will take a long time for you to finish eating it, too.

Ingredients:

  • 1 brownie mix
  • 2 small boxes of instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 sleeve of graham crackers, broken
  • 1 tub of whipped topping
  • 1 small jar of marshmallow cream
  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1 bar of Hershey’s chocolate

Steps:

1. Start by baking a 9×13 pan of brownies, according to the package directions. Once done, allow to cool and cut up into chunks. While the brownies bake a cool, make the pudding and break the graham crackers into much smaller pieces.

2. In a trifle dish, add a layer of brownie pieces. Then, top the brownie pieces with about half of the pudding. On top of the pudding, add a layer broken graham crackers. Make sure the chocolate pudding is covered well with the graham crackers.

3. Take half of the whipped topping from the tub and mix it in a bowl with half of the marshmallow creme. Spread that mixture over the graham cracker layer. Repeat all the layers again, you’ll end with the marshmallow whipped topping mixture.

4. Broil the marshmallows, just until golden. It will only take a few seconds, so be careful. Let them cool, then sprinkle them over the top of the whipped layer. Add some crushed graham crackers and chopped up Hershey’s bar. Put it in the fridge for a few hours to let the flavors blend together. Dish it out and enjoy!
