If you are searching for a french inspired bakery with croissants to die for, Batch Bakehouse is the place for you. They serve specialized baguettes, cheese Ficelles, artisanal loaves of bread, and more! The moment you walk in, you’ll feel as if you’ve suddenly traveled to a patisserie in the heart of Europe. Some must trys if you pay them a visit would be the ham and gruyere croissant, their mini butter cake, and the triple threat cookie!

Another personal favorite would be the classic strawberry cheesecake cupcake. Absolutely divine. And affordable! What more could you ask for?

Stella’s bakery is a unique little shop on the eastern side of Madison, Wisconsin. It is conveniently located one mile north of our famous Capital City Trail. And what perfect way to end a hike than by stopping in for a baked good as a reward? I know if I had just gotten done walking up a storm, all I’d want is something sweet to fill my stomach. But then again, that’s just me. Stella’s bear claws, cherry danishes, and spinach Empanadas will sure to fill you up in no time. Not to mention their spicy cheese bread is absolutely to die for.

12. Bloom’s Bake Shop

Last but not least on our list, we have the lovely Bloom’s Bake Shop! The second you walk into Bloom’s you’ll come to feel right at home.
