5 Delicious No Bake Desserts To Bring To Your Next Party

While desserts are delicious, and baking may be fun, the truth is sometimes you just don’t have the time. The day was full and even though you want to bring a great homemade dessert to that party your best friend is throwing; you don’t have enough time to bake cookies or wait for the cake to cool so you can frost it. Not to worry, this is why No Bake desserts were invented! These 5 No Bake recipes are some of the easiest enjoyable treats to prepare without the hassle!

1. Easy Icebox Cake

Cake is a staple at many parties, but it’s also a dessert that takes time to make. This Icebox Cake, however, is an easy frozen treat substitute for those who just want to grab and go. Use Oreo thins or a different cookie of your choice, whip some cream and you’re practically done! All you need to do is leave it in the freezer to give the cream enough time to soften the cookies up for the party.

While the cream will generally give you more of a vanilla taste, for chocolate lovers, add in a couple tablespoons of cocoa powder! Mix and match flavors to find your favorite recipe.

2. Layered Lemon Pie

Nothing cleanses a palate better than lemon and they are also a wonderful ingredient in desserts. This layered lemon pie is an easy treat that requires you to simply layer graham crackers, pudding, and lemon curd to make a delightful mix of tart and sweet to please your guests. Lemon curd can easily be bought at a store, but the recipe recommends home made for a special taste that everyone will appreciate.

Serve it refrigerated with whipped cream and berries on top to make it a refreshing dessert perfect on a hot day out in the sun.

3. Perfect Banana Pudding

Banana pudding is a classic dessert enjoyed by many. This easy pudding recipe is guaranteed to be a hit, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve prepared extra for those asking for a second serving.

Simply made by using wafers, vanilla pudding, and fresh banana slices, this recipe will take only about 20 minutes to prepare so that all you have to do is remember to take it out of the refrigerator before you leave.

4. Oreo Cookie Balls

Oreos are one of the most classic childhood cookies, and this recipe puts a fun twist on an old treat. Everyone knows that Oreo cookies were made for dunking, but instead of milk, these treats are dunked into a thick pool of melted chocolate chips.  The instructions direct you to simply crush the cookies and mix them with cream cheese and form them into mini balls while you are melting a bag of chocolate chips.

5. Red Velvet Swirl Fudge

Both Fudge and Red Velvet can be considered rich and dense desserts, but that certainly won’t stop anyone from enjoying them, even on a full stomach. This combination of the two desserts is dangerously delicious and only takes around 10 minutes to prepare before popping it in the freezer.

The fudge uses white chocolate chips while the red velvet calls for milk chocolate, so you can expect that this dessert will be on the sweeter side. So, for those chocolate lovers with a sweet tooth, this is the perfect dessert for you!
