10 Delicious Cookie Recipes That Will Make Your Mouth Water

Finding the right cookie recipe can be hard – especially if you’re an avid lover of their sweet gooey goodness. In other words, why pick one when you can have many? That’s why we compiled these 10 delicious cookie recipes for you to try – that are sure to make your mouth water. 

1. Hot Chocolate Cookies

Who would have thought that adding hot cocoa to your cookie recipes could be so delicious? Well, I’m here to vouch for it because this wonderful cookie serves as just the right treat to hand out around Christmas time. The best part about this is that you can make them during the holidays – or all year round. 

All that you need to make these are; 1 cup of butter – softened, 1 cup of sugar, 2/3 cups of brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp of vanilla, 3 1/4 cups of flour, 4 packages or 3/4 cups of hot cocoa mix, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of baking soda, 2 tsp of baking powder, 1 cup of chocolate chips, and 1 cup of Mallow Bits. 

2. Cream Cheese Cookies.

If you don’t like the taste of cream cheese than you don’t know what you’re missing. But if you didn’t already think it was delicious – in the form of cheesecake, or as a spread to meet all of your bagel needs – then try out this delicious cookie. You won’t regret it with how easy it is to make. 

All that you need to make these are; 2 3/4 sticks of unsalted butter – at room temperature, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, one 8-ounce package of cream cheese (6 ounces at room temperature, 2 ounces frozen), 1 1/4 tsp kosher salt, 4 cups confectioners’ sugar – sifted, 1 large egg yolk, 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp whole milk, and grated lime zest or finely minced cranberries – as an optional garnish. 

3. “The World’s Best Cookies.”

The reason why these cookies are so unique – and full of flavor – is because of the coconut, cornflakes, pecans, and oats; but even so, the coconut and cornflakes are two ingredients that pack a powerful punch. The best part about these is that they are sweet without the help of chocolate – and other such goods. 

All you need to make these are; 1 cup of unsalted butter – softened, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 cup of brown sugar – packed, 1 cup of vegetable oil, 1 large egg, 1 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of vanilla, 1 cup 80g quick-cooking oats, 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of sweetened shredded coconut, 1 cup of lightly crushed cornflakes, 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts. 

4. Candy Bar Peanut Butter Cookie Cups.

Candy bars and peanut butter… I mean is there really any other way? The answer is no because they are quite versatile – which allows you to pick which candies are your favorites. The best part about this recipe is how good the melted chocolate tastes – in combination with the cookie. 

All you need to make these are; 1/2 cup of unsalted butter – softened, 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar, 1 egg, a 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract, 1-1/4 cup of all-purpose flour, a 3/4 tsp of baking soda, 1/2 a tsp of salt, and candy minis/bites – Milky Way, Rolo, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Hershey’s Drops, etc. 

5. Salted Caramel Shortbread Cookies.

If you’re looking for a delicious cookie – to bake during the fall season – then look no further; for this salted caramel shortbread cookie will leave you wanting more. The best part about it is how sweet the caramel tastes as soon as it touches your tongue; just make sure you don’t eat too much so as not to get sick. 

All you need to make the cookie itself is 1 ½ cups unsalted butter – softened, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, and 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. Then all that you need for the topping are 26 ounces of caramels unwrapped, 4 tbsps of milk, 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chopped, 1 tbsp butter, and 3 tsp of flake sea salt.

6. Funfetti Cheesecake Pudding Cookies.

Taking a bite of funfetti literally makes you feel as though heaven’s collided with your tongue. But what other reason would someone think to pair funfetti with cheesecake if not to make your tastebuds cry more tears of joy? So be sure and add this to your cookie recipes if you’re a lover of funfetti, cheesecake, pudding – or even all three. 

All you need to make these are; 1 cup of unsalted butter – softened, ¾ cup of brown sugar, ¼ cup of granulated sugar, 3.4 oz package of cheesecake pudding mix or vanilla, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, 2¼ cups of flour, 1 tsp of baking soda, ½ tsp of salt, 2 cups of white chocolate chips, and a ½ cup of rainbow sprinkles.

7. Chocolate Chip Snowball Cookies.

When I think of snowball cookies, funnel cake and cake balls are the two things that come to mind – although it may be different for everyone. But if you haven’t tried a snowball cookie – due to your avid love of chocolate chip – then you’ll want to try these! After all, chocolate chips are included. 

All you need to make these are; 1 cup unsalted butter softened, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp of vanilla, 2 1/4 cups flour, 1/2 tsp of salt,1 cup mini chocolate chips, and additional powdered sugar for rolling

8. Frosted Flake Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Want to incorporate your favorite cereal into your next cookie recipe – if so, then who’s to stop you? And the answer is nobody. Fortunately, with this recipe you can do just that by adding frosted flakes; this one is sure to keep your sweet tooth at bay. 

All you need to make these are; 1/2 cup of unsalted butter – softened, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup of brown sugar – packed, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of vanilla, 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips, and 1 1/2 cups of Frosted Flakes cereal. 

9. Eggnog Christmas Cookies.

All of us dream to have cookie recipes that are melt in your mouth – or crumble at first bite; well, you’re in luck because that dream has finally come true with these eggnog Christmas cookies. In fact, the best part about them is the frosting – which serves as the perfect addition. 

All you need to make the cookie itself is 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour, 2 tsp of baking powder, a 1/2 tsp of salt, a 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg, 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon, 3/4 cup of unsalted butter – at room temperature, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup of packed light-brown sugar, 2 large egg yolks, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp rum extract, and 1/2 cup of eggnog.

Then all that you need to make your frosting is 1/2 cup butter – at room temperature, 3 to 5 tbsps of eggnog, 1/2 tsp of rum extract, and 3 cups of powdered sugar. This serves as the cherry on top of the sundae – by making each of your cookies incredibly tasty. 

10. Red Velvet Gooey Butter Cookies.

One of my biggest weaknesses is coming across a perfect red velvet… anything. In doing so, you’ll begin to notice the outside crumble ever so slightly, and at that moment your stomach knows – before you do – of the moist delicious treat you’re soon to eat. If you love the taste of red velvet then you’ll definitely want to try it in cookie form – and in combination with these gooey butter cookies. 

All that you need to make these are; 2¼ cups plus 1 tbsp of unbleached all-purpose flour, 3 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder, 3 tsp of baking powder, an 8-oz package of cream cheese, ½ cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of granulated cane sugar, ¾ cup of packed light brown sugar, 1½ tbsps of pure vanilla extract, 1½ tsps of strong gel-based red food coloring, a ¾ tsp of fine-grain sea salt, 1 large egg – plus 1 large egg yolk, and 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar.
