It seems like we need a different clutch to go with every outfit we have. So, it’s pretty fair to say that there are probably a lot of clutches sitting in your closet. Belts do us a favor by keeping our pants from falling down and emphasizing our waist. So, do them a favor in return and store them properly in the closet! Start by going through your belts to make sure they are in good shape. Throw out any that don’t fit or have seen their better days. Then use shower rings to hang them from your closet rod! The ring is the perfect size to hook onto the rod and the belt buckle easily fits over the hook. Now you don’t have to worry about your belts getting smushed and taking on weird shapes.

Simply, use the tab to hook two hangers together so that each of them can hold an item. This way you are condensing space in your closet and becoming more organized. Sounds like a win-win to us!
If you have ever experienced a scarf avalanche, you know how annoying that can be. Not only does it scare you, but it also tangles all your scarves on the ground. To stop this from happening next time, try using a clothes pin scarf collector. Start with a piece of painted wood plank (about 12 inches long) and hot glue one side with about 12 clothes pins (about one inch apart), to it. Then make a hole on each end of the plank and take some twine or wire to create a hanger that hangs over the top of a hook. Attach the hook to the wall or over the back of a door. Now, all you have to do is use the clothes pins to hang your scarves in a visually pleasing way!
Put your impulse buy of woven baskets to good use with this organization tip! Store all your bulky sweaters in them! It’s the perfect solution for seasonal storage issues. Fold the sweaters neatly to make sure they don’t take up any more space than necessary in the baskets. Then, simply put the baskets on the top shelf of your closet! There’s actually a lot of possibilities for storage solutions. Take a bathroom towel rack and attach it to the inside of the closet door. You can hang items off of it. You can also use wall hanging sticky strips to hang small plastic storage bins. You can put accessories in them to keep them from getting tangled in with your clothes! All hail hanging closet organizers! They help you create closet storage from thin air. Hang them from your closet rod and get down to business organizing. You can fill the hanging organizer with all your bottoms (pants and skirts). This keeps them all in one place and also gets rid of the chunky pant hangers. In turn, you’ll actually gain more rod space, which allows you to spread out the rest of your clothes. Now, you can see what is already in your closet!
There’s no doubt that built in cabinets help declutter your closet. They have the ability to take a hot mess and turn it into a functional closet. However, there is still a way to improve upon them.
