Dating Services: Which One Is Better?

There are plenty of dating services that offer bachelorettes and bachelors with the same essential service—a platform to meet new people and find a potential partner in different ways.

You can compare-and-contrast dating services that are available to you so you can choose the right person for you. Each dating site has different features like an online or video chat, safety features like photo verification, and dating games.

Choose a dating site that offers the features which are most important to you. As you begin your online dating journey, explore the features available on different sites. Look at the dating services below to guide your decision.

1. Match

Match is about establishing a romantic connection for potential singles. Whether it is a good date, a meaningful relationship or an enduring marriage, romantic connectivity, which builds a person’s spirit. Match is about increasing the romantic connectivity worldwide, which it is already doing with its 511 million Match.com users.

This dating site offers three subscription styles per month for however many months you will have the site. For instance, the cheapest subscription costs $23.99 per month for 12 months. The next cheapest subscription-style costs $26.65 per month for six months. The last subscription costs $31.99 per month for three months.

Match uses a matchmaking system that ensures potential singles are getting what they want in their partner. Whether you are at home or on the go, you can have easy access to your profile online or on your mobile phone. Unlike Elite Singles, it gives you a test to describe the basics about yourself from height/weight and ethnicity to five interests you have.

2. Elite Singles

Elite Singles offers a streamlined selection process by weeding out potential matches by simplifying the selection process for you. This dating service uses a detailed personality test to match you with a variety of compatible users in the nearby community. Just know that you do not have to waste any time finding the people that will be interested in dating.

This dating site offers three bundle memberships: premium classic, premium comfort, and premium light. These memberships offer different costs per month. For instance, the premium classic membership is 21% off right now, so it costs $14.95 per month for six months. The premium comfort costs $12.95 per month for 12 months. The last membership, the premium light bundle, costs $24.95 per month for three months.

Elite Singles’ matchmaking system ensures that they can make potential singles high hopes a reality when it comes to finding a quality relationship. Whether you are at home or you are on the go, you can have easy access to your profile online or on your mobile phone.

3. Tinder

Tinder is a location-based social search mobile dating app and internet application, which allows bachelorettes and bachelors to use a swiping motion to like (swipe right) or dislike (swipe left) other singles nearby or in the local area. If both parties like each other, a match is formed and both parties can communicate with one another. Tinder is one of two dating services that offers free communication, but you have to pay for their features. This dating site makes being single fun and rewarding by connecting people who may or may not have met in real life.

4. Zoosk

Zoosk is a newcomer to the online dating scene when it emerged in 2007, but it already boasts a sizeable membership. This dating service has 35 million registered members, it has a larger membership than Match, which has about 21.5 million users. So what does this mean for you?

It means that Zoosk potentially has more matches for you. But, as you surely know by now, online dating isn’t just about quantity: it is about quality. So, if you want quality options when it comes to finding someone, you need to enjoy a night out or the rest of your life with your potential match. Zoosk does not promise you a soulmate, like other dating services, it offers you a chance to get into the dating pool and get a feel for the men or women that you meet with this dating service.

5. Bumble

Bumble, like Tinder, is a location-based social search mobile dating application that facilitates communication for singles. In heterosexual relationships, the bachelorettes are the ones that make the first contact with matched bachelors, while in homosexual matches either person can send a message first. Bumble, like Tinder, also allows bachelorettes and bachelors to use a swiping motion to like (swipe right) or dislike (swipe left) other singles nearby or in the local area.

If you are an empowered woman, you will enjoy this fascinating tidbit.

According to VidaSelect, “Bumble was created by Whitney Wolfe, one of Tinder’s founders. She parted ways with Tinder after filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against both Tinder and IAC, its parent company at the time. After pocketing just over $1,000,000 in the settlement, she turned around and launched Bumble, which has become one of the most successful dating apps in the world. In August of 2017, Match Group (formerly IAC) tried to acquire Bumble for $450 million, but Whitney turned down the offer.”

Bumble, unlike Tinder, has women initiate the conversation, which effectively cuts down on the number of sleazy messages that women often receive from men on other dating services like Tinder. This is actually good news for bachelors because if you get a Bumble match that messages you, you already know that she is interested in you.

If you are looking for a refined experience in the dating pool, Bumble is the way to go. Bumble uses a variety of filters that Tinder does not have like what you want your potential date matches to have like a set height or weight, education, pets, religion, and their political status. These filters are free on the app. Bumble also gives women a variety of openers to choose from if they do not know what to say to their match.

Most of these dating services, besides Bumble or Tinder, offers a free trial period for a few months, or less. However, to open all features and communication tools, you’ll need to either subscribe or pay more money to unlock these features. You should consider the features, matchmaking and search capabilities, and overall quality of the sites as you compare prices. Joining a dating site is a smart investment for bachelorettes and bachelors that are struggling to find their match. If you put yourself out there, you won’t need to subscribe for long. After all, it’s worth it — this is your future and happiness at stake.
