Cute Office Decor You Need To Have In Your Space

Decorating an office space isn’t always easy. If you’re someone with a home office it can be difficult decorating that space because you want it to be professional but you also don’t want it to feel cold and separate from the rest of your house. Whether it’s an actual room dedicated to your work a corner of your home there’s always cute office decor that you absolutely need in your space. Office decor doesn’t have to be beige and boring. Below is cute, fun and even quirky office decor that will brighten up any space. This will take your normal office to the next level. 

1. Unique Desk

First thing first is you’re going to want to find a desk that is unique and specific to your style. Minimalist desks are popular now, but they don’t all have to be white and from Ikea. Below is an example of a desk that is beautiful and professional. Considering that you’re going to spend a long time at this desk you’re going to want to get something that you will enjoy for a while. Plus it looks like you put a lot of effort into your office decor. Also investing in a nice desk is also something you could carry with you throughout your life. 

2. Consistent Color Palette

Another good idea would be to stick to a consistent color palette. It might not seem important to have all of the office decor to match and you don’t need it to all look the same but the key is to have a specific range of colors you would like to have. Like in the photo below the colors range from grey, black, pink and black. 

3. Moon String Hanger

Not everything item of office decor you buy has to be absolutely functional. Meaning not everything has to be a pencil holder or a light. Something like this wall decor would work perfectly. It allows your personality to show through, plus it’s something nice to look at when you’re working. 

4. Clear Chair

It’s important to have a chair that’s comfortable but also one that you like visually. If you can’t stand the typical computer chairs do some digging and try to find something that fits in with the rest of your aesthetic. For instance this clear chair is an unexpected office decor item. Plus it matches with the rest of the decor. 

5. Neon Sign

You’ll want all the light you can get when you’re working at a desk, but it doesn’t all have to come from lamps. Consider getting a cute neon sign like the one below. It’s different and you can find one that comes in a shape or one that has a great quote to motivate you through studying. 

6. Paper Holder

You don’t want clutter covering your desk and if your office isn’t the largest you don’t want papers taking up space on your desk. Get a paper holder that stands up right. That way it won’t take up a lot of space and it’ll look cute and keep you organized. 

7. Twinkle Lights

Twinkle lights are another great piece of office decor. This would look especially great if you have your desk in your room. That way when it isn’t used it will be covered in beautiful lights. 

8. Framed Map

If you’re especially proud of where you live you could always get a framed photo of your city. Or you could get a framed minimalist map of where you want to end up. 

9. Magazine Holder

If you want your desk completely devoid of clutter consider purchasing a magazine holder you can hang up. That way your papers will stay organized and within reach without taking up desk space. 

10. Wireless Keyboard

Even if you have a laptop sometimes a wireless keyboard can be especially nice. Consider purchasing one that has a unique look to it, like the one below. It will brighten up your office decor. 

11. Shelves

You could always add some shelves in your office as well. It can be a place to put even more office decor and a place to store objects you don’t always need on your desk. 

12. Bookshelf

If you work with a lot of books consider purchasing a bookshelf like the one below that comes in an unusual shape. Not only does it catch the eye but it’s great in the sense that it takes up very little space on your desk. 

13. Blankets

If you’re someone who gets cold easily it could be smart to keep a throw blanket in your office. It could double office decor, find a cute little basket to put it in.

Don’t forget to bring some life to your home decor with some plants. Place a few throughout your room and it will brighten up any office space. 

15. Calendar Wall

You could definitely make use of your wal by turning it into a massive calendar. Find a board that you can use dry erase markers on and put whatever it is you need on it. 

16. Phone Holder

This will help because for one thing it will force you to put your phone somewhere other than immediately in your lap and if you’re working you can quickly glance at your phone without having to skip a beat. 

17. Pencil Holder

You can’t forget about having some cute pencil holders. Make your office decor not boring by purchasing an unexpected holder, like the one below. 

18. Rug

Consider purchasing a rug. It will be a cute pop of color in your office decor plus it will be a comfortable place to rest your feet while working. 

19. Turn Your Friends Into A Gallery Wall

 You don’t need to spend a lot of money on office decor. You could easily print out photos of you and your besties and hang them up as a gallery wall. 

20. Mouse Pad

Sometimes it’s easier on your hands to use a mouse, and if that’s the case you’re going to want to invest in a good mouse pad. One that your mouse can easily move around on and this one is nice because it has a little arm rest to it.
