12 Cute Hairstyles That Will Grab Attention

Do you ever sit in front of a mirror and get bored of your hair always looking the same every single day? If you are in need of some different and cute hairstyles please read on so I can inspire you!

1) High Sleek Ponytail

High ponytails are one of the cutest hairstyles because they are so versatile, especially for long sleek hair. Based on the look you are going for, you can go for a basic one or one with more volume. Either way, the sporty yet fancy elegance of this updo is unbeatable. This look can be made fancier with some cute accessories. It can also be made simple by making it messy—both are super cute, and definitely a go-to.

2) Two Dutch Braids

Boxer braids are literally everything— the “it” hairstyle for all girls on all occasions. A lot of people do not know how to braid their own hair, but now is the time to learn. When you braid your hair in tight braids, the face looks larger and pulled back. If you go for a loose braid then it is for fancier occasions, paired with a cute skater dress. I love braids and definitely recommend you learn how to braid if you do not know-how.

Braids are literally a go-to, and I would definitely recommend learning how to braid because it’s a great quality to have!

3) Lose curls

Cute hairstyles should make you happy! If you have time on your hands and what to change your look, I suggest curling your hair. The loose curl look is very casual yet professional. I love curling my hair when I go out and have time. If you have short hair this will shorten it less than regular curls—so you can somewhat keep your length.

These curls look really professional, so this is perfect for a work look.

4) Messy Bun

Messy buns are amazing— and let’s face it, we all have the guilty pleasure of twirling in your hair through a hairband to create a nice bun. So effortless. We all know that when we need to make a cute messy bun it doesn’t work out, but when we are at home cleaning you manage the perfect bun!

I love this hairstyle, it is so commutable and perfect for cleaning, studying to working at home. I am definitely a messy bun addict!

5) Fish Braid

Fish braids are cute hairstyles for anyone who knows how to do them! It definitely doesn’t work for girls with short hair because the hair slips out. There are so many ways in which you can do a fishtail; from making it a ponytail to starting at the bottom of your head, you can do anything!

6) Half up Half down

This is by far my favorite hairstyle because it is two hairstyles into one. Basically, you tie half your air into a ponytail and the other half is left down. The look is super original and is perfect if you cannot decide between up or down. You can tie your ponytail as high or as low as you want, you can even leave the part in your hair and tie the ponytail around the hair left down.

You can even curl your hair if you want an even more intriguing look. This beautiful girl did a good job because she wrapped her hair around the hair tie to hide it!

7) Low Ponytail

Low ponytails are super cute if you have a long day. Sometimes ponytails that are too high will make your head hurt, so definitely go for a low ponytail if you have a lot planned. This hairstyle is also super cute because you can braid each side of the head to spice up the look.

Notice how this girl volumized her hair to make it look 3-D.

8) Half up Half down Bun

This one is another one of my favorites… I’m wearing it now— such a cute hairstyle— please try it! This time instead of leaving half your hair in a ponytail, tie it up into a bun.

Notice how casual the look is, but how extremely cute it is! Messy bun and hair down, this is definitely the best pair!

9) Braided Headband

This is a more formal hairstyle but definitely still cute if you are going out or to a fancy place. A lot of girls go for this look on special occasions like prom, weddings, or conventions. If you have time, I would definitely try this hairstyle just to switch things up.

10) Waves

After you braid your hair, spray your hair with water or put in some curling gel, and then sleep in the braids to wake up with cute beauty waves in the morning. This one is also super simple and doesn’t require much the day of. With the waves, you can definitely still do any other of the hairstyles like the half up, half down, or the ponytails!

This can be accomplished by making your box braids either tight or loose.

11) Space buns

This one is definitely more modern and appeared in the Gen Z era, as girls started trying new looks and fell in love with this one. This hairstyle is definitely perfect for festivals, concerts, or outings because it is definitely the most daring and outgoing of hairstyles.

This hairstyle is so intriguing and has an effortless look.

12) Headband

If you are not very good at braiding or have no time for updo’s or fancy hairstyles but just want a change, go for headbands. It’s an accessory that doesn’t require time and can be paired with any outfit. You can wear it with any hairstyle previously mentioned in this article so go crazy!

Hairstyles allow you to be different every day and try new things every time you want to. Sheloma Isac

Hi everyone! My name is Sheloma - a name my father made up. “She” because I was a girl and the rest inspired by the meaning of peace in Jewish (Shalom). According to ancestry.com, I am Greek, French, Italian, Romanian, and Asian but conforming to my education and the way I was brought up, I am 100 percent Romanian. I am 18 years old, born in March, and definitely a Pisces. My birthday is on the day we celebrate women internationally. I was born in Singapore, moved to France after one year, then to Qatar where I attended a British school. Which is why I say “petrol” instead of “gas” and “mum” instead of “mom”. After that, we moved to France where I studied at an International School, needless to say, that these were some of the best years of my life. I now live and go to school in Houston. Though I have an ENTJ personality, the “chief” personality I feel like an introvert. I like learning about religions and honoring all the gods as well as myself and the universe. Yoga is my higher power and my spirituality. I am a fitness/health enthusiast. I love training and working out in many different ways. Lifting weights is my favorite but I also enjoy, running, boxing and swimming. Traveling is my oxygen and if you know me, you know I’m not exaggerating. I love going to places and merging the cultures with my own, interacting with people, and the environment.
