Whether you live in Austin or you’re just passing through, it’s a great place that has many cute attractions. There are tons of options to pick from and sometimes it can take time to decide what to do and where to go. That’s why I’ve created this little list of awesome date spots you can try out in Austin, Texas!
The Zilker Botanical Gardens is one of the most beautiful date spots in Austin. You get to walk through amazing flowers, koi ponds, and even a Japanese Garden with your special someone as you relax in nature’s beauty!
You can stop and talk at any of the many benches in the park as you enjoy its beautiful streams and flowers. This date spot is perfect for the couple who loves to enjoy the outdoors!
Mour Cafe is a delicious and one of a kind restaurant that’s located just minutes away from Downtown. It’s the perfect place to have a brunch, lunch, or dinner date. Their amazing menu offers several different options so there will be something for both of you, even if you each have different tastes in food!
The waiting staff is very kind and they’ll really make you feel comfortable and at home on your special date. The vibes of this place are perfect for a first and/or 100th date!
Don’t forget to check out their amazing drink menu and tasty cakes for dessert. You really can’t go wrong with Mour cafe, after you go once you and your date will be left wanting to more!
If you and your date love good Italian food then Juliet Italian Kitchen is one of the best date spots for you. Sit indoors and have a romantic dinner as you enjoy talking with your special someone, or sit outside on their beautiful patio for a nice brunch date or to enjoy the sunset!
If you’re lucky you may even be there when they have live music out on the patio and an extended Aperol spritz happy hour, or half off wine bottles on Tuesday nights! Be sure to check their website to see when they have other fun events.
This is one of my favorite date spots in Austin because the food and environment are just so good, and enjoying that with your special someone will make it 10 times better!
Next on our list of date spots is a classic date activity but with a twist, you can only get in Austin! Alamo Drafthouse is a sweet movie theater that’s perfect for a fun date with your special someone.
Don’t worry about getting dinner before because you can order food in the movies as well as you’re favorite drinks, shakes, cookies, and/or desserts. You can even go for brunch!
Although there are dine-in movie theaters all over, there’s nothing like the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema experience. You and your date will love going to the movies here!
Gourdough’s Public House is the perfect place for the donut loving couple. Choose from many different sweet and/or savory donuts all made in many different shapes and sizes. You and your special someone can laugh while you choose which of the funny named donuts you’d like!
Enjoy your delicious donuts while sipping some of their tasty drinks and enjoying each others company in this cute restaurant. You can even step outside to play a fun game of ping pong or Jenga together!
Zilker Park is a beautiful place to go for a romantic picnic at sundown. Prepare a special picnic for you and your special someone, pack a cozy blanket to relax on, and you’re all set! This is one of the cutest date spots to get away from all the noise of the city and make great memories in nature together.
