DIY Nails are the easiest way to have salon looking nails without the cost. Finding a design that you both enjoy, and can do yourself, can boost your confidence for two reasons. First, you’ve managed to do it yourself and second, it makes you feel like you look better.
The best place, no doubt, to find cute nail designs that you can do yourself is on Pinterest. There are thousands of ideas ranging from simple to complex and which use every color known to man.
Step 1: Apply white basecoat
Step 2: After your white basecoat has dried apply striping tape diagonally across the tips of your nails.
Step 3: Paint the darker shade of your color of choice across the tip of your nails, then the lighter shade below.

Step 2: Take a piece of sponge and apply strips of lavender, blue, and mint green nail polish to it.
Step 3: Gently dab this on your nail and repeat if necessary.

Step 5: Finish the look with a high-shine topcoat.
Step 1: Apply striping tape to the lowest part of the white part of your nails, straight across.
Step 2: Paint the tip of each nail a different color of neon.
Step 3: Once your nails are dry, removing the striping tape.
Step 4: Finish the look with a high-shine topcoat.
Step 1: Paint each nail with one of the colors you chose and wait for them to completely dry.
Step 2: Once dry, place striping tape in a criss-cross pattern towards the bottom of your nails
Step 3: Paint the entire nail with white polish and wait for them to completely dry.
Step 4: Once dry, remove striping tape and top with topcoat.
Step 1: Paint each nail pink and wait for them to completely dry.
Step 2: Once dry, place striping tape towards the tips of your nails, in a ‘smile’ shape.
Step 3: Paint the middle yellow, and the tip with the glitter green polish and wait for them to completely dry.
Step 4: Once dry, remove striping tape and top with topcoat.
Step 1: Paint each nail baby blue and wait for them to completely dry.
Step 2: Once dry, place striping tape diagonally across your nails starting at the lower left and going towards the upper right.
Step 3: Paint the left side with the navy blue glitter polish and wait for them to completely dry.
