12 Cute Airport Outfits You’ll Need For Your Spring Break Travels

Spring break will be here before we all know. Most of you will be travelling for your spring break, because spring break wouldn’t be what it is without all the travels everyone makes. Airports will definitely be coming into play this spring break. Everyone wants to be as comfortable as possible at the airport. However, comfy doesn’t always mean cute. There is always that one chance you may run into the love of your life, or just someone cute, at the airport while looking like a bum. Fortunately, it’s easy to look comfy and cute at the airport with these airport outfits, so take notes:

1. Fluffy sweater, leggings, and tennis shoes.

Maybe you’re one of those people who prefer going to a colder climate for spring break. If you want to keep warm in your airport outfit, but not over heat, try a comfy sweater and leggings. Both will keep you warm, but not too hot since you might be flying from a warmer climate. Wear a pair of tennis shoes for even more comfort! You won’t be bumming it, even though you’ll be so comfortable that it might feel like it.

2. Comfy crew neck sweatshirt and leggings.

The most typical airport outfit is probably the crew neck sweatshirt and leggings. You’ll see it all over the airport over spring break, I’m sure. So you might as well get in the action! Instead of a boring old crew neck, wear a name-brand one. Name-brands somehow manage to make us look more put together. You can look a little more put together than the other airport goers by wearing a name-brand crew neck sweatshirt, like Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, etc., and leggings. I know, we shouldn’t conform to society’s standards, but if you are wanting to look a little cute at the airport, do what you have to do!

3. Denim on denim.

I know, I know, denim on denim is more likely to be a fashion catastrophe than a fashion epitome. However, it is totally doable and if you can pull it off, you should be pulling it off! Jeans aren’t the most comfortable to travel in, so you may be thinking, “You want me to be wearing even more denim when I don’t even want to wear denim pants?!” Well, yes is the answer to that. If you are willing to sacrifice comfort for fashionability and uniqueness, then a denim on denim look is for you.

4. Oversized hoodie and shorts.

If you are wanting to be seriously comfy while looking seriously cute, the perfect airport outfit is an oversized hoodie and shorts. The hoodie and shorts combo is the perfect happy medium. You are staying cozy while not overheating. You can wrap yourself up in your big hoodie when the airplane air conditioning gets too cold, but you won’t be too hot when you step into the Miami airport for your spring break. You actually get the best of both worlds here.

5. Crew neck with biker shorts.

Biker shorts are a huge trend right now. I’m not sure how, or why, but they are! They do make for a comfy airport outfit though. Wear a pair of biker shorts with a crew neck sweatshirt for a totally comfy airport look. The biker shorts will give you tons of functionality. No worries about stiff movements like with jeans. You’ll feel pretty and free.

6. Cropped sweatshirt and capri sweatpants.

Cropped sweatshirts are amazing, we already know. They give you lots of wiggle room and show off that lovely mid-drift. Pair your cropped sweatshirt with a pair  of capri sweatpants. You’ll be comfortable in this airport outfit because of the sweatshirt and sweatpant material. It’ll feel great against your skin during your long spring break flight.

7. Matching outfit with your gal pal.

Spring break doesn’t always mean travelling back home to visit family. Sometimes it mans travelling with your bestie. What’s more fun, and cute, than wearing matching outfits! Now, completely matching outfits is a little weird, I won’t lie, but wearing the same items just with different colors is totally adorable. It’s like you wanted to match, but realized it’d be not cute if you were wearing the same exact thing. Coordination is key!

8. Layers, layers, layers!

Some of you really might be going to a cold climate for your spring break. Maybe an abroad trip! Since the climate is going to dropping, layering is only appropriate. A t-shirt, sweater, and jean jacket, oh my! The absolute perfect layering combo. Pop on a pair of leggings with that and you have a stylish airport outfit.

9. An indie look.

Want to leave an impression on all the other travelers? Go with an indie look for your airport outfit. Hats are great for the spring, except beanies of course. Wear all black, with ripped jeans, and a hat for a unique airport look. You’ll have the other travelers in awe with how stylish you look traveling. Also, don’t you want to arrive to your spring break destination looking bomb?!

10. T-shirt dress.

The most acceptable way to wear a t-shirt with no pants is a t-shirt dress. We all know the comfiest thing is going to bed in just a big t-shirt. Flying in a t-shirt dress is about as close as you’ll be able to get to that. Luckily, t-shirt dresses don’t make you look like you’re sloppily wearing a big t-shirt to the airport. They make you look stylish. For a little extra style, tie a jacket around your waist.

11. Some tracksuit action.

Tracksuits are very convenient in the fact that it’s an already put together outfit. If you want to be a little lazy during your spring break travels, just throw on a tracksuit. They’re cute and totally trendy. You’ll effortlessly look put together. Maybe add some hoop earrings as a cute accessory.

12. Crop top and sweats.

A crop top and sweats is a classic airport outfit. I consider it classic because it is probably the cutest. Something about the baggy sweatpants and slim fitting crop top makes it just absolutely adorable. It’s totally comfortable and an awesome choice for your spring break travels. You can’t go wrong with this airport outfit.
