6 Crockpot Keto Recipes You Need To Try

Meal prepping for the week can be so time consuming, and when you’re on the Keto diet you have to keep track of everything that you’re putting in your body to stay in ketosis. Why not make your life easier this week and use your Crockpot? Throw these keto-friendly recipes into your crockpot before leaving for work, and come home to a ready-made meal! Being on the Keto diet has never been easier with these 6 Crockpot Keto recipes.

1. Keto Crockpot Chilli

Chilli is absolutely perfect when you’re on the Keto diet, and this Crockpot recipe is one you will want to try! First, you’ll want to brown your ground beef and sausage mixture (2lbs all together, whatever ratio you’d like.) Once browned, drain the mixture to shake off the excess fat – but save half of it and place it in the Crockpot. Chop 1 medium green bell pepper, and 1/2 of a medium yellow onion, and toss it into the crockpot with the ground beef and sausage. Pour in 1 14oz can of diced tomatoes in tomato juice, 1 60z can of tomato paste, and 1/3 cup of water, before mixing in your spices (1 tablespoon chilli powder, 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin, and 3-4 minced garlic cloves.) Place the lid on your Crockpot and set to low for 6 to 8 hours, and bam! You now have six servings of Keto chilli for the week.

2. Stuffed Taco Peppers

This Keto recipe will curb your carb-heavy taco or burrito cravings! In a separate bowl, mix together 500g of ground turkey, a teaspoon of garlic powder, and a dash of cracked black pepper. Stir in a cup of cauliflower rice, chopped yellow onion and jalapeños. Mix in a cup of your shredded cheese of choice (personally, I like cheddar or Monterey jack!) Hollow out at least 6 red bell peppers, and stuff them with your turkey mixture. Spray some olive oil in your Crockpot (or coconut oil to be even more Keto-friendly.) You may need some toothpicks to keep your peppers standing straight when you place them into your Crockpot! Pour in 1/2 cup to a cup of water, and let them cook on low for 8 hours.

3. Cheesy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Who doesn’t love a good dip? This Crockpot Keto recipe will curb your cheesiest of cravings! Place your chicken thighs at the bottom of your Crockpot. Chop up an onion, and toss in at least a 1/2 cup of Frank’s Buffalo sauce over top. Sprinkle in some paprika and garlic powder, then stir everything together before placing on low heat for 6 hours. Once the time’s up and you’ve flaked your chicken, stir in a cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of cream cheese. This Keto-friendly dip is perfect with some celery!

4. Mexican Shredded Beef

This Mexican-inspired, Crockpot Keto recipe is so versatile (and also so easy to store in your freezer!) First, you’re going to create your spice mix in a separate bowl: 1 tablespoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/4 teaspoon red chilli flakes (but add more if you want more of a kick!) Then you’re going to chop 1 yellow onion, mince 4 garlic gloves, and add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste into your Crockpot. Squeeze some lime juice, and sprinkle some of the spice mix into the pot – but not all of it! Rub and pat the spice mix all over your 3lb beef chuck roast, before placing it into your Crockpot. Leave it in the pot, cooking for 7 to 8 hours on low heat. When you come back to it, flake the beef with your fork, and let it cook in the sauce for at least another 30 mins. Then voilà – you have 10 servings of a delicious, Keto-friendly meal. Serve it with some cauliflower rice or in a lettuce wrap!

After cutting a 16 oz cream cheese tub into cubes, place evenly on top of the spiced chicken, and set the timer for 6 to 8 hours on low. Once fully cooked, flake the chicken with your fork. Before it’s ready to serve, fry up some bacon (a Keto dieters fave!) and sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese! It is simply amazing in a lettuce wrap.
