15 Creative Pool Party Drinks For Adults

The summer is heating up and you know what that means – that’s right, pool parties! It can get boring serving the same drinks year after year, though. So we’ve got you covered. We’ve come up with 15 creative pool party drinks that you can serve at your next party. Your guests are sure to be impressed and be asking you for the recipe.

1. Bermuda Triangle Punch

One sip of this drink and suddenly you will feel like your laying on a white-sand beach in Bermuda looking out into the turquoise water when really you’re just sitting in your backyard. To make this, you will need: 2 oz. Gosling’s Black Seal Rum, 1 oz. canned pineapple juice, ½ oz. passion fruit juice, 1 oz. fresh orange juice, 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters, and for garnish, a half of an orange wheel and a black cherry. Add the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and shake well. Pour over ice into a serving glass and add garnish.

2. Pink Bikini

To make this drink, you will need: one bottle of raspberry lemonade, 1 ¾ cups coconut rum, one cup Amaretto Liqueur. Combine the ingredients in a pitcher, stir well, and serve over ice. You can also add in some fresh raspberries if you want.

3. Sea Water

This drink is incredibly simple to make. All you’ll need is: blue Gatorade, blue Hawaiian punch, vodka, and sprite. Combine in a pitcher with ice and it’s ready to serve! One of the easiest pool party drinks to make!

4. Moscato Strawberry Lemonade

For this drink, you will need: one bottle of pink moscato, six cups of lemonade, ¼ cup of strawberry vodka, frozen strawberry slices, and fresh lemon slices. Mix all of the ingredients together in a pitcher with ice and serve it up!

5. Strawberry Margarita Jell-O Shots

This is a great new way to enjoy a strawberry margarita. You will need: two three-ounce boxes of strawberry jell-o, boiling water, cold silver tequila, coarse sugar or salt to rim the glasses, limes for garnish, and 2 oz. plastic shot glasses. Add both boxes of strawberry jell-o to a pot of boiling water and mix until all the jell-o is dissolved. Once it’s dissolved, add the tequila and mix well. Next, pour the mixture into the shot glasses and refrigerate for a few hours or until firm. Once you take them out of the fridge, dip the rims of the cups into water and sprinkle with salt or sugar. Then place them back in the fridge for another 30 minutes to allow the rims to set. Cut the limes into small wedges and place on the rims of each cup and serve. 6. Mermaid Lemonade

To make this drink, you will need: two cups of ice, ¼ cup of blue curacao, one cup of white rum, two cups of lemonade, four lemon slices for garnish, eight maraschino cherries for garnish, and four paper umbrellas. Add ice, blue curacao, rum, and lemonade to each glass and stir together. Stick a lemon slice and two maraschino cherries onto each paper umbrella and place in the drink for garnish.

7. Rosé Sangria

This drink is the perfect blend of citrus, berries, and wine, making it the ultimate summer cocktail. Here’s what you’ll need: one bottle of dry rosé wine, one cup limoncello, one cup of fresh raspberries, one cup of fresh strawberries (hulled and quartered), one lemon sliced, and half an orange sliced and quartered. In a pitcher, combine the fruit and pour in the limoncello, then the rosé. Stir together and chill for at least an hour. Serve in a wine glass with ice and extra fruit, if desired.

8. Pink Flamingo Punch Cocktail

Here’s what you’ll need to make this drink: one frozen Bacardi mixer pina colada, one cup of rum, two cups of watermelon (cubed), ½ cup of strawberries, one cup of ruby red grapefruit juice, and ¼ cup of lime juice. Simply blend all the ingredients together and garnish with a mint spring, fruit slice, or a festive flamingo straw and you’re good to go!

9. Mango Mojito

Embrace the flavors of the tropics with this drink. To make it, you will need: four mint leaves, two tablespoons of brown sugar, two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice, ½ cup of mango nectar, 3 oz. of rum,  2 oz. of seltzer water, ice, and for garnish, lime slices, fresh mango (cubed), and mint. In a cocktail glass, add the mint leaves and brown sugar and mix together until the mint leaves are bruised to release the mint flavor. Then, add the lime juice, mango nectar, and rum and mix until the sugar has dissolved. Next, add the ice and seltzer water. Lastly, garnish with lime slices, mango cubes, and mint sprig.

10. Adult Capri Sun

This tasty recipe will give you a major throwback to your childhood. Here’s what you’ll need: one cup of your favorite juice, 2 oz. of alcohol (vodka, rum, or bourbon), adult capri sun pouches, and straws. Combine your juice and alcohol in a glass measuring cup (preferably with a pourable spout), then add the mix to the pouch. Add ice if you’d like and stick in a straw. These pool party drinks will definitely bring your guests back to their glory days!

11. Pineapple Wine Punch Coolers

This is a must-try at your next pool party. Here’s what you’ll need: three cups of pineapple juice, one bottle of Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, one cup of brandy, one cup of pineapple soda, one ripe pineapple cut into chunks, and ice. You will also need plastic sandwich bags and straws. In a bowl or pitcher, combine the ingredients. Transfer the mixture into the plastic bags, stick a straw in, and serve.

12. Pink Lemonade Margarita

To make this drink, you will need: two cups of pink lemonade, ½ cup of freshly squeezed lime juice, one cup of triple sec, one cup of silver tequila, for garnish, lime wedges, and for the rims, salt. 14. Blue Hawaiian

This drink is a must-have for pool parties. Here’s what you’ll need: one part blue curacao, two parts coconut cream, two parts white rum, two parts pine apple juice, crushed ice, and pineapple pieces for garnish. Place all ingredients, except the pineapple pieces, in a cocktail mixer and shake until ingredients are well combined. Pour into glasses and garnish with the pineapple pieces.

15. Pina Colada Sangria

You will need the following to make this drink: two 750ml bottles of moscato, 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple and pineapple juice, 1 ½ cups coconut rum. Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and refrigerate overnight to serve it chilled.
