10 Cool Ideas To Add Rhinestones In Your Makeup Routine

If you’re here, this means that you’re craving for a way to spice up your makeup, and are looking to get ideas. Look at you, being all resourceful!

There’s many ways to spice up your makeup. Do a cut crease, try drawing something sublet on your face that goes with the colors, things like that. How about putting on some rhinestones to give your face a bit of flare?

Here’s a few makeup ideas that we think you might be into!

Face and Under-eyes (1)

This makeup look is absolutely beautiful! It’s not too flashy, but its cool enough that it isn’t too loud and isn’t too busy on the face. There’s only two colors in this makeup look, which makes it more cohesive. The bold black lipstick color, and sharp winged eyeliner? Chef’s kiss. Beautiful.

Just adds a bit of extra flare to your usual makeup routine.

This is mainly for parties, so it’s not exactly something you can take to your workplace everyday. Halloween is another good choice for this makeup look. But who says you don’t have to wear it out in public? Be extra if you really want to! Nothing’s stopping you!

Eyelids

This one is way more simple and subdued than the first makeup loo. No one said eyeshadow had to be an absolute must, now did they? No! Substitute eyeshadow for small, elegant rhinestones. It’s unique, and will add a bit more flare to your eyes of you’re going with no eyeshadow.

Pair it up with a nude lip, like in the photo, for a soft glam type of makeup look. You could also totally do a bold red lip color. A red lip color would stand out from the rest of your face, making the whole look complete.

Experiment with this look as much as you want! Your face is your blank canvas.

Face and Under-eyes (2)

This is another soft glam type of look. There’s only a light brown eyeshadow applied with a really soft eyeliner incorporated into this makeup look. It’s simple, gorgeous, and will bring attention to your face.

This is perfect for going out, either to clubs, parties, or anything fancy. Practice this look at home, so by the time quarantine is over, you can wear this look out wherever you want! At the park. At home. Even to your niece’s birthday party! Wherever you wear this look, have fun with it.

Euphoria-Inspired (1)

Ever seen Euphoria? Then you know about the makeup looks the actresses put on. They’re this really cute, really unique way of doing makeup. There’s some unconventional shapes, like clouds or squiggly lines that makeup artist incorporated into the show.

One of these makeup looks really caught everyone’s attention, and this is an example of it. We can bend the rules a little bit; who said you have to use pearls for it to be a Euphoria look?

This makeup look is also pretty easy! Slap on a solid color onto your lids, put on rhinestones, some lashes, and boom! You’re on your way to looking like the goddess or god that you are!

Avant-Garde

Okay, you can only see one eye for this makeup look, but even without the whole face, you can tell this is very avant-garde makeup style. The long, crazy lashes combined with the really stunning gradient of the eyeshadow makes it so cool. And with rhinestones on the eyelashes? Stunning!

Obviously this is not for everyday use. The mixing of the shadows will take years of your lifespan if you’re a beginner or at least a few days if you’re an intermediate makeup-wearer. This is definitely more costume-ly then your average makeup look. But think of it this way.

Imagine if you went to a Halloween party with this makeup look on? It’s a total conversation starter! This look is also perfect if you’re famous enough for the Met Gala!

Vogue. That’s it. This makeup look should be on the cover of Vogue because it definitely needs to be there.

Putting rhinestones on your hair may seem a bit unconventional, but really, do we see a lot of makeup looks with rhinestones in their hair? Despite the many rhinestones, it isn’t loud. It’s beautiful, and really elegant. This would be totally perfect for a formal event!

Pair it with a nude lip, and you’ve got an amazing makeup look on you.

Freckles

Have you ever thought about putting rhinestones and using them like freckles? No? After this, consider it!

Again, this is another simple makeup look, but the rhinestones speak for themselves. Paired with nude colors, it makes the rhinestones pop out even more.

Minimalistic

Not too many rhinestones here, but all the more beautiful. Less is more!

This is a really cute pink, fuchsia, and blue makeup look. Is the red? Even better. Even with the eyeshadow by itself, we it’s gorgeous. So we recommend you use this as a stepping stone for any other miscellaneous rhinestone adventures you go through.

It’s perfect if you’re going to be hanging out with friends on a night on the town, or going to a formal event.

Coachella-Inspired

Yes, we’re aware that Coachella was cancelled for obvious reasons. It really sucks, but if you look at it positively, this just means you have more practice for when you can go next year! This Coachella-inspired makeup look is not like the others.

It’s extra as hell. But that’s not bad at all!

If you’re looking to get some rhinestone practice in, then definitely use this look as a way to hone your skills. You don’t have to do the glitter though; remember, it never goes away!

Euphoria-Inspired (2)

This is another Euphoria-inspired makeup look that is super cute and perfect for painting the town red with your friends!

It’s simple, and the rhinestones give the illusion of a fat wing. The rhinestones really pop around the soft, pinky tones of the eyeshadow. This is a pretty simple look as well, so anyone can do it. Yes, even you with no experience!

These are just a couple of ideas that we wanted to throw at you. We encourage you to go hogwild and try out different makeup looks with rhinestones since you can do pretty much anything with them. Rhinestones are pretty versatile materials, so just hop onto your local arts and crafts store and check them out. Have fun!
