5 Cool Hairstyles To Keep You Looking Hot

These days there are so many different ways to style, color, and cut your hair. There are no known boundaries anymore! So how do you know which ones are hair -dos- and hair -don’ts-? Here are 5 of the top cool hairstyles you need to know to stay looking sizzling hot this season!

1. The Simple Side Braid

Let’s start off with something easy here. We aren’t all professional hair stylists, but this is one of our quick, easy, cool hairstyles that is perfect for all types of hair at any length! The simple headband side braid; It can be a regular braid, inside-out braid, or even a fishtail. Just simply separate about 2/3 of your hair in the front. Then comb it to one side, and viola! Start braiding! Then, you can either use a mini hair elastic, preferably a clear one or one that matches your hair color, or just take a bobby pin and tuck it behind your ear. Easy, right? This way, whether you are in a rush, getting ready for school, work, or even a date, or just want to look cute going to run some errands you have the perfect answer!

2. The Princess Pony Tail

Now for cool hairstyles #2 we are going to step up our game a little bit, ladies. This particular style would work best with medium-length to long hair. For this either you or a friend will need to know how to French-braid. Personally, I am terrible at it so if you need to improvise, feel free! Section off a rectangle area in the middle of the top of your head. To make things easier, tie the rest of your hair in a straight back pony tail. Now, French-braid the top section of hair (or improvise). When you get to the back of your head, clip it down so that you can take out the first pony tail and add the loose end of the braid into it. Feel free to leave the pony straight back, or tighten it and pull up for a nice, high pony! If you’d like to add a relaxed look, pull the baby hairs out from behind your ears on both sides. Now you can stay cool in the hot air, and look hot with this cool hair! BONUS: Curl or wave the pony tail if you want some extra style!

3. Flirty Faux Up-do

This one is one of my favorites. A simple up-do of your choice (we suggest a messy bun) with some added flare. This could work for multiple hair lengths. When putting your hair up, instead of flipping over and tying it all up, section off most of it, leaving the bottom layer out. Tie up your hair however you would like it. Then, take the bottom section of your hair and brush it up with your fingers. Now start braiding! It’s important to make sure you keep pulling your hair upwards while you’re braiding so it doesn’t bump out too much. Once your braid reaches the up-do, pin it in place tight enough to keep the braid up, but loose enough for this next step. Gently and carefully tug on the separate sections of the braid to fan it out. It will still resemble a braid, just cooler! If your hair is long enough you can then tie it in with the rest of your hair, otherwise just keep the pin in place. If you feel extra ambitious, you can also do this on the top section of your head as well. We recommend the ladies with that extra poppin’ hair color try this out. It mixes things up beautifully with multicolored locks!

4. The Classic Short Bun

Finally, something the women with short hair can take advantage of. (Any length can do this style as well.) The top bun is a classic we all know and love, right? For this particular style, we think it’s pretty self-explanatory, so no instructions follow. Just make sure the hair up to hair down ratio is even. It IS possible to screw this one up! Don’t turn these cool hairstyles into a hot mess. Also, the top bun looks best with loose curls to go with it. If you are going to straighten your hair for this, make sure it is pin straight, ladies!

5. The Mother Braid

Of course we saved the best for last. Before you panic, this is so much easier to do than you might think. This hairstyle is only for the ladies with those long, luscious locks. All this is, is a giant braid, made out of 5 smaller braids. Let’s break it down real quick. Pull your hair back in 5 different sections. Braid all 5 of those sections. Look at that! You’re more than halfway there already. Now, take those 5 sections and hold them together to make 3 sections, and braid them together. Tada! It looks complicated, it’s cool, you will guaranteed look hot, what could go wrong?!

Now that you got to check these looks out, you have everything you need to be the hottest woman on the scene. Let us know which one’s your favorite below, and stay fierce ladies!
