Cookie Recipes That Will Get You Baking Everyday

Cookies are such a delicious treat to have, especially if they are home-made with tons of love! Perfect for a gifting someone you love, taking to a party you have been invited or for your home tea parties where you want to surprise your guests, these cookie recipes are easy to follow and the result its super delicious! Be sure to give them a go and don’t blame us if you find yourself spending too much time with your oven baking tasty creations every time!

1. Key Lime Sugar Cookies

Nothing can go wr0ng when you match the flavors of sugar cookies and key lime. As a result you will get a soft, chewy and refreshing cookie that will leave you taste buds wanting more! To make these cookies you will need:

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon key lime zest
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

And for the lime glaze you need:

  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of lime juice
  • Zest from a lime to sprinkle

Start by mixing the flour, baking soda and salt until combined. in another bowl cream the butter and sugar until smooth, then add the egg, vanilla, lime juice and zest until well combined. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients mixture until they are combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips to finish the dough. Form balls with the mixture and place them on a cookie sheet, take them to the oven for 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

Take them out and let them cool completely before glazing them. To make the glaze just mix the powdered sugar and lime juice and drizzle it over each cookie and sprinkle them with the lime zest before serving on a sunny day!

2. Neapolitan Cookies

Bringing Neapolitan cookies to a party will not only surprise people but will place you as a high skilled baker. The best about this recipe is the combination of some of our favorite flavors ever, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate all in the same cookie. To enjoy these cookies, you will need to make a base dough first that needs:

  • 2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon water, optional
  • Coarse sugar for sprinkling on top

For the strawberry dough you will need to have:

  • 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tablespoon strawberry jam
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • pink or red food coloring
  • 1/4 teaspoon strawberry extract for extra flavor, optional

For the chocolate dough you will need:

  • 1 and 1/2 Tablespoons of unsweetened natural cocoa powder
  • 1-ounce semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled

Start by making the base dough by combining the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Then cream the butter and sugar until smooth, add the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined. add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until well combined on low speed. The dough. Might be sticky but that is okay, now you need to divide this dough in three parts. One of it won’t be altered since it’s your vanilla flavored part of the cookie, so set aside. For the strawberry dough you need to add all the ingredients listed and mix them until well combined.

The last part will be your chocolate dough, so you will add the ingredients left to this part and mix them until well combined. Layer each dough as you desire, our recommendation is first strawberry, then vanilla and then chocolate on a loaf pan and chill them for approximately three hours. When the time has passed, cut rectangles out of the big dough block, place on a cookie sheet and bake at 175 degrees for around 12 minutes. You can sprinkle them with coarse sugar if you desire and enjoy!

3. Pumpkin Cookies With Cream Cheese Frosting

This cookie recipe it’s perfect for those fall theme gatherings you have with your friends. Or if you are feeling nostalgic and want to remember the falling leaf season then you should try this recipe for sure. To make this you will need:

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 8 Oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Start by beating the butter on medium speed, then add the granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg until well combined. After that add the vanilla, pumpkin and lastly the flour. Place the cookie dough in heaping teaspoons on a cookie sheet and bake for about 12 minutes at 175 degrees or until tops are set.

Proceed then to remove them and let them cool while you make the frosting. To make the cream cheese frosting start by beating the butter and cream cheese until smooth, then add the powdered sugar and vanilla. When the cookies have cooled down completely, add some of the frosting on top and enjoy with a hot beverage!

4. Cookies And Cream Cookies

Cookies and cream are just one of those pairs we always crave for their delicious connection. The result with these cookies are a chewy, soft and extra tasty treat you will want to have a batch at least twice a week in your house. To bake this, you will need:

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 4.2 oz pkg Oreo Cookies & Cream pudding mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 15 Oreo cookies coarsely crushed

Start by creaming the butter and sugars together until smooth and creamy. Then add the pudding mix, eggs and vanilla until well combined. Proceed to add the flour and baking soda without stopping mixing. At last stir in the white chocolate chips and Oreo cookie chunks as big as you decided to make them.

Place the cookie dough as rounded teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet and bake for approximately 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Enjoy when they have cooled down with a big glass of milk!

5. Salted Brownie Cookies

Maybe salty cookies are not your option of choice, but we can assure you after you try this recipe, you will fall madly in love with salty-sweet cookie combinations. Try this cookie recipe with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or with your favorite coffee, trust us they are worth it! To make this you will need:

  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • flaky salt, for topping

Start by whisking together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt and set aside. Then place the chopped chocolate and butter in a double boiler, melting it until smooth. Combine the eggs, sugars and vanilla on medium speed for 5 minutes, reduce the speed and add the melted chocolate. After that add the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Place the cookie dough in a cookie sheet and bake for about 14 minutes or until the tops are shiny and crackly at 175 degrees. Take the cookies out of the oven when ready and sprinkle with flaky salt. Let them cool and be sure to share them with your favorite people in the world!
