5 College Outfits All Students Own

I do not care how old you are or what university you attend, if you are in college you, without a doubt, have these items in your closet. These 5 college outfits all students own may leave you feeling attacked because you know you and all of your friends are wearing these outfits.

1. The “I am THIS CLOSE to dropping out” outfit

We all know the outfit I am talking about. You just rolled out of your bed and you look like you brushed your hair with a firecracker and you do NOT have a single care about what you look like right now you are just putting your body in a chair so your professor does not dock you anymore points. You are wearing the baggy long sleeve or short sleeve t-shirt, maybe a tank or a hoodie something comfy paired with your bed pants. Maybe you even slept in this outfit and didn’t even bother to change that’s how done with the semester you are. It is quite possible one of these articles of clothing even have a coffee stain on it.

2. The “I swear I really am going to try and look nice this semester” outfit

We all do it. We all say we want to look nice, smell nice, dress nice every semester. We have done it as long as we can remember. We are scrolling through social media and see all of these IG baddies and you know you can achieve this goal and look cute every single day. We gotta get that boy we could potentially meet in one of our classes to notice us right? I think we all really do have good intentions and that is why we all have these I am put together and ready for college outfits. We all know we end up wearing sweats by the end of the semester and telling that boy to take me as I am, coffee stain and firecracker hair and all, or watch me as I leave.

3. The “I am a professional a** college student” outfit

These are the days you decide to wear a dress or some nice slacks and a blazer to school. The days everyone says “ohhhhh you look nice!”. You are feeling yourself and you are ready to get that degree sis. These days are great when you are feeling highly motivated to get some work done a be productive, but they also work well if you are trying to fake it until you make it. Either way, you get to look nice for your peers and maybe even get some cute selfies to post between classes.

4. The “I LOVE my school” outfit

We all make the mistake of walking into the spirit wear store and buying every cute shirt, hat, sweats, and pop socket. We are WAY proud of ourselves that we are out here getting educated and we want to be able to show that off! These are the days that you really want to show your school spirit and show the world that you are a fighting (insert school mascot here)! If you are not showing off your school spirit you are showing off your organization spirit with their apparel. We’re looking at you greek life!

5. The “going out” outfit

We ALL own these. And the worst part about them? We act like they are the most deterimental outfit we have ever put on our bodies. If we spend HOURS getting ready to make sure we look good just so we can get wasted and no one can even tell or care what you’re wearing anyways. You have to get the cute pics with your besties in the outfit though. We act as though we never have another chance to try a different outfit ever again, but guess what? We put these outfits on over and over and over again and we (usually) end up loving our choice even though it is typically different every single time you go out for a night on the town.
