5 Cocktails That Will Make You Even More Grateful This Thanksgiving

Although food is typically the star of the show on Thanksgiving, why not spice up your holiday tradition with some fun and festive cocktails? These Thanksgiving cocktails will have your mouth watering before you can say “pumpkin spice and everything nice.” From classic cranberry to warm and fuzzy apple cider, these cocktails add a festive boozy twist to your Thanksgiving favorites. Your guests may come for the turkey and stuffing, but they will be extra grateful for these unique and spirited Thanksgiving cocktails!

1. Cranberry Sauce Mojito

Cranberry sauce is a staple at most Thanksgiving dinners, and this drink is the perfect complement to the traditional dish! If you crave a sweet drink, then this cocktail is exactly what you need at your next Thanksgiving get-together. Plus, who doesn’t love mojitos?

To make cranberry sauce mojitos for your guests, you’ll need two tablespoons of cranberry sauce, 10 mint leaves, one slice of lime, two ounces of rum, and two-three ounces of sparkling water. To make the drink, put the cranberry sauce, mint leaves, and lime into the bottom of your glass and mix it up until all of the lumps are gone.

Then, add the rum and mix it all together with a spoon. Add some ice and lime slices, and top your cup off with sparkling water. For an added flair, garnish your drink with cranberries and a mint leaf.

This drink is sweet and delicious, and it will surely become a staple at your next Thanksgiving party.

2. Hot Apple Cider Buttered Rum

This Thanksgiving cocktail is sure to warm your soul on a chilly evening. For all of you rum lovers out there, this drink is a classic take on a hot toddy. A hot apple cider buttered rum will give you all of the fall vibes, and make you feel cozy and calm as you enjoy Thanksgiving with your family.

There is no better time to drink a hot cocktail than when it’s chilly outside. Enjoy this festive Thanksgiving drink with your friends and family, and you’ll surely be feeling all of the warm fuzzies (and not just from the rum).

To make hot apple cider buttered rum, you’ll need 40g unsalted butter, two tablespoons of maple syrup, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, 300ml of golden rum, and 600ml of apple cider.

To prepare this cocktail, first melt the butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon together over low heat in a large pan. Then, add the rum and let it all simmer for one minute. Finally, pour in the apple cider and heat until warmed through.

To make this drink even more picture-perfect, garnish your mugs with some cinnamon sticks and nutmeg. To stay warm on a colder Thanksgiving, this cocktail is the way to go.

3. Pumpkin Spice White Russian

This cocktail is pumpkin and spice, and everything nice! If you’re like me, then you’re absolutely obsessed with pumpkin during the fall (no shame). From pumpkin spice lattes to pumpkin bread, to even pumpkin donuts, Thanksgiving is the perfect time to embrace the autumn spirit and try your hand at a pumpkin spice white Russian cocktail.

To make a pumpkin spice white Russian, you’ll need four tablespoons of Kahlua, three tablespoons of pumpkin spice liquid coffee creamer, two tablespoons of vanilla vodka, and three teaspoons of pumpkin puree.

To make this cocktail, first combine the Kahlua, pumpkin spice coffee creamer, vodka, and pumpkin puree into a cocktail glass and stir. Then, add some ice and sprinkle the top of your glass with cinnamon or pumpkin spice itself!

This drink is so simple to make, yet so delicious and unique. If you need more pumpkin spice in your life (who doesn’t?) then definitely give this Thanksgiving cocktail a try!

4. Cinnamon Apple Cider Mimosa

Mimosas are the perfect way to start off a festive Thanksgiving holiday as you’re cooking in the kitchen. Why not add a little bit of Autumn flair to your next mimosa, and make it a cinnamon apple cider mimosa!

This cocktail tastes just like cinnamon apple cider but with a boozy twist. Plus, it only has three ingredients! It’s super easy to make, and it will definitely have your guests feeling thankful in no time.

To make a cinnamon apple cider mimosa, you’ll need a bottle of sparkling wine, a bottle of organic apple cider, and ¼ cup of cinnamon whiskey (Fireball is a great choice). To prepare this Thanksgiving cocktail, combine the sparkling wine and apple cider in a pitcher, and then stir in the whiskey. That’s it!
