How To Survive

For those of you first-timers to Coachella, the most important thing is to have fun and make sure you’re taking advantage of all the money you spent on tickets and board but here are some tips to make sure you have a good time

Budget your money

Nothing’s worse than running out of money or not even having money for essentials like water and food as those can be really expensive at a concert. You also want to save money for things that are going to make you have fun like beer and mementos. Make sure you factor all those costs in when saving for the concert.

Pace Yourself

You don’t want to be that person that’s lying down on the floor or throwing up in that corner or even worse, get carried out in a stretcher. It’s all good to drink and get a buzz to have fun but you don’t want to overdo it. Go slow during the day and make sure you have had something to eat and are drinking a lot of water and then at night you can turn up and go crazy-just make sure you’re not too hungover to get back out there the next day.

Prepare for Transportation

Ubers and Lyfts are going to be crazy during Coachella and not everyone will be walking distance from the concert. The surcharge can be ridiculous for big events so prepare to leave a little early, hang out for a while after until the rush goes down or call for a ride ahead. In cases like this, a taxi might also be a lot cheaper than rideshare.

Have fun and be safe!
