The chilliest time in Chicago calls for a winter jacket. But not just any winter jacket. A coat that’s worth more than $1000 is what DePaul girls settle for! Everybody will begin to wear this on campus not only to keep themselves warm but to also show off that they are able to afford it and you probably can’t. If you don’t have this winter jacket, then you’re considered ‘un-cool.’
Oh the sweet, simple staple of the jean jacket. Jean jackets literally match with anything and everything in your wardrobe. During the spring season, you will see DePaul girls overload you with the sight of jean jackets. They either pair this with a low-top or white platform sneaker. If you don’t have a jean jacket in your closet, then are you really considered a DePaul girl?
This is a sneaker that has lasted through middle school, high school, and now you’re probably wearing it to DePaul’s college campus as well. Don’t be ashamed miss, because we don’t blame you for it either. These city girls are seen all around campus wearing the all-famous Chuck Taylor high-top shoes. They are unafraid to show that despite the fact that their winter jackets might be over $1000, they are still sticking to their old classic long-lasting sneakers.
We all have our bad hair-days and why not cover it with a hat? Whether the caps are filled with eye-catching embroidered emojis or a statement, this is something that you most likely have in your closet. Not only can these hats save the day, but to many of these DePaul girls, they are considered cute and give off an, ‘I don’t care, but I kind of care,’ vibe.
DePaul girls don’t necessarily have to wear this piece to go work out, but they use it as part of their on-the-go outfit. If you see them wearing some black leggings, they are probably going to pair it with a jean jacket and have coffee in their hand. To top it all off, they are also likely to wear some sunglasses as an accessory to their outfit.
When the summer season hits, it becomes Birkenstock season! EVERY. SINGLE. DEPAUL GIRL wears this when temperatures rise. It is a must-have piece as part of their summer outfit and if you don’t own it, well start saving some money for it. Not only are these slip-ons comfortable, but these girls are unafraid to sacrifice their bank account for a pair.
Chicago is known to be a city where temperatures fluctuate: one day it can be freezing with below-zero degree weather, while the other you’re out in the beach enjoying the sun. DePaul girls are prepared for this with their warm faux fur jackets. These jackets are extremely soft and cozy, while still keeping them warm and safe from the freezing weather.
If someone is part of a sorority, then they will for sure let you know. You will probably see them walking around campus with a jacket to the sorority they belong to! Plus, if they also see a member of their sorority while on their way to class, they will call them out from a mile away.
Everyone needs a pair of comfortable jeans, and DePaul girls decided to just choose one specific pair of jeans to match with every shirt they own—boyfriend jeans. You will most likely see these pants around the start of spring where it’s still not warm enough yet to jump to the decision of wearing shorts. Like most of their pants, they will pair it up with some comfy sneakers to walk around campus with.
It could be the start of spring or the end of the winter season, but an oversized brown coat is a must for these college girls to have in their wardrobe.
