With back to school rolling around the corner, we’re all looking for online and in-store deals to refresh our wardrobes. Here’s a list of ten clothing brands with student discounts so you can do some guilt-free shopping before summer comes to a close. Just go through StudentRate’s website with your .edu email address provided from your school/ university to unlock the discounts listed below. Happy shopping!
ASOS is one of my favorite clothing brands out there for trendy pieces that fit well and don’t break the bank. Using your .edu email on their website, ASOS gives you a unique code that you can put into the promo/discount code box whenever you check out on the site. It’s 10% off, which pretty much pays for taxes and shipping fees (if you have them), so shop on!
Madewell is another option that offers student discounts, but this time, it’s 15% off purchases when you present a school/ university ID card. For a brand that is usually on the higher end in terms of prices, this discount will help you get some good quality items, that will last you a long time, at a bit of a discount. (They have the best jeans ever, FYI.)
Urban Outfitters, through the StudentRate website, offers a 10% off coupon when shopping online and in-store. Now, I have some ethical concerns when shopping from this brand (just my opinion), given some of their prior and current business practices, but I can’t deny that they have some very trendy and fashionable pieces. If the ethical issues aren’t there for you, this discount is a perfect opportunity to get some more bang for your buck when shopping from the brand.
Okay, this discount from Nasty Gal is seriously one of the best out there. When signing up via StudentRate, and after verifying your .edu email status, you get 55% off the entire website! They have really cute graphic tees there as well– so I recommend looking through their collection to bulk up on some basics with a twist! This is one of the best clothing brands with student discounts!
Topshop, a store that is easily accessible to most of us now that they’re in Nordstrom, offers a 10% off discount through StudentRate. While their sizes aren’t the most inclusive out there (I’m a 12-14 and can rarely find items that fit), if you are on the more petite side, this is a good option for you!
When presenting a valid school/ university ID card, Banana Republic offers a 15% off discount on full priced items. They have super cute basics, and very cozy sweaters, so they’re perfect for fall if you live in a cooler climate and want to bulk up on some layering pieces.
While I have personally never purchased anything off of Missguided’s website, I’ve heard really good things about the brand– and they offer a 20% off discount on their website when you’re registered through StudentRate. So if Missguided is your thing, shop on guys and gals!
For all of those out there that like to thrift, Goodwill has 10% discounts on differing days of the week. Just check with your local store to see which days they offer the deal, present a valid student/ university ID card, and get already affordable items, for even better prices.
For those of you that love vintage clothing with a modern twist, Modcloth is a great option for you. They offer an AMAZINGLY inclusive size range, so ALL of us can shop there (they offer sizes xxs-4x), and they have a 15% off discount for university students online. This is one of the best online clothing brands with student discounts!
Students (and bonus: teachers, too!) can get 15% off in-store purchases at J-Crew when you present a valid ID card at checkout. Similarly to Madewell, J-Crew offers really well-made items, at a little bit of a higher price-point, but if you want to invest in some timeless items (the sweaters, PLEASE check the sweaters), J-Crew is a great option for you.
