Nothing says Cinco de Mayo like MARGARITAS (and tacos duh!) Whether you are going out to hit the town and try as many margs as possible or if you are staying into a fiesta with friends, you can’t celebrate without tequila! Grab your favorite agave liquor, your shaker, and some lime and get ready to celebrate. From fruity mixes, punches, and combos of margaritas mixed with other types of drinks, these recipes are sure to satisfy. Fresh Pineapple Margaritas
You will need:
- 1 Cup Pineapple Chunks (Frozen or Fresh)
- 1 Oz Lime Juice
- 1 Oz Orange Juice
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 1 1/2 Oz Triple Sec
- Ice
- Salt/Sugar to Rim Glass
Blend pineapple into a puree then add to a shaker with the rest of the ingredients. Add ice then shake. Serve in a glass rimmed with salt or sugar.
Mint Mango Margarita Punch
You will need:
- 2 Cups Chopped Fresh Mango
- 8 Oz Lime Juice
- 10 Oz Tequila
- 8 Oz Orange Liquour
- 6 Oz Mint Simple Syrup
- 4 Oz Club Soda To Top
- Salty Chili Sugar For Rim
- Lime slice and mint leaf to garnish
Mix 3 tbsp of sugar, 1/4 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp chipotle chili powder and use to rim glasses. Create a simple syrup by combining 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar and 1 bunch of mint leaves. Bring to a boil and strain before using. Blend mango with lime juice until you have a puree. Stir the rest of the ingredients in a pitcher and serve with rimmed glasses.
Red Grapefruit and Honey Margarita
You will need:
- 2 Whole Grapefruits
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 1 Oz Triple Sec
- 2 Tsp Orange Juice
- 3 Tbsp Honey
- 2 Cups of Ice
- Salt for rim, grapefruit slice for garnish
Juice grapefruits and add to a blender with the rest of the ingredients. Serve in salt-rimmed glasses with a grapefruit slice for garnish.
Avocado Margarita
You will need:
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 1 Oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 3/4 Oz Agave Syrup
- 1/4 Avocado
- Salt For Rim
In a shaker, add the avocado with ice and shake to break down the avocado. Add tequila, lime, and agave and shake until it is fully mixed. Serve over ice with salted rim and slice of lime to garnish.
Spicy Pink Paloma Margarita
You will need:
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 1 Oz Fresh Grapefruit
- Grapefruit Soda to Top
- Fresh Sliced Jalapeno and Slices of Grapefruit to Garnish.
Add all the ingredients in a shaker, shake to combine. Rim glass with salt and top with soda.
Mint Julep Margarita
You will need:
- 1 1/2 Oz Tequila
- 1 1/2 Oz Bourbon
- 1 1/2 Oz Fresh Lime
- 3 Oz Mint Syrup (Water, mint, sugar heated)
Put all ingredients in a shaker, pour over ice in salt-rimmed glasses
Spicy Passionfruit Margarita
You will need:
- 1 1/2 Oz Tequila
- 1/2 Oz Patron Citronge Orange
- 1/2 Oz Lime Juice
- 3/4 Oz Passion Fruit Syrup (sugar, water, jalapeno, passion fruit puree boil then strain)
Combine everything and shake with ice. Serve over ice, with jalapeno and mint for garnish.
Kumquat Margarita
You will need:
- 3 Oz Kumquat Puree
- 1 Oz Tequila
- 1/2 Oz Triple Sec
- 2 Tbsp Sugar Syrup
For the puree, take 12 oz of kumquats, halved and seeded blended with 1/2 cup of water then strained. Take the puree and add the rest of the ingredients in a shaker. Shake to combine and pour over ice, garnish with sliced kumquat and a salted rim.
Watermelon Lemonade Margaritas
You will need:
- 1 Oz Tequila
- 1/2 Oz Triple Sec
- 1/2 Oz Midori
- 2 Oz Watermelon Juice
- 4 Oz Prepared Lemonade
Puree slices of watermelon (approximately half of a watermelon) then add it to the rest of the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Pour over ice and garnish with a watermelon slice.
Aperol and Elderflower Margarita
You will need:
- 1 1/2 Oz Tequila
- 1 Oz Aperol
- 1/2 Oz Elderflower Liqueur
- 1/4 Oz Lime Juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake. Serve in a glass with a salted rim.
Sparkling Luxe Margarita
You will need:
- 1 Oz Triple Sec
- 1 Oz Tequila
- 1/2 Oz Lime Juice
- 3 Dashes of Bitters
- Champagne to Top
Put all ingredients except the champagne and bitter in a shaker and shake to combine. Serve over ice and top with champagne and bitters.
Cucumber Lavender Margarita
You will need:
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 2-3 Slices of Muddles Cucumber
- 1 1/2 Oz Lime Juice
- 1 Oz Lavender Simple Syrup
Shake all the ingredients and serve over ice. Garnish with sliced cucumber.
Lemongrass Cilantro Margarita
You will need:
- 1/4 Cup Cilantro Leaves, pureed
- 1/4 Oz Ginger Paste
- 1/2 Oz Lemongrass Paste
- 1/2 Oz Agave Syrup
- 3 Oz Lime Juice
- 1 1/2 Oz Orange Liquour
- 2 Oz Tequila
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake to combine, garnish with lime and cilantro.
Lemonbalm Margarita
You will need:
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 1/2 Oz Triple Seco
- 1 Oz Sweet/Sour Mix
- 2 Oz Orange Lemonade
- 1/2 of Lemon and Lime, Juiced
- 5-6 Minced Lemon Balm Leaves
Add lemon balm minced at the bottom of a glass with ice. Shake the rest of the ingredients with ice. Pour into the glass with lemon balm and serve with a lime slice and orange to garnish.
Moscow Mule Margarita
You will need:
- 1 Oz Lime Juice
- 3 Oz Ginger Beer
- 1 1/2 Oz Tequila
- 1/2 Oz Orange Liqueur
- 1/2 Oz Simple Syrup
STIR ingredients gently then serve over ice with a salted rim.
Blackberry Lime Margarita
You will need:
- 1 cup frozen blackberries
- 1 lime, zested and juiced
- Orange Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 lime, cut into 4 wedges, plus additional lime wedges, for garnish
- 8 ounces silver tequila
- Blackberries, for garnish
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
Strawberry Champagne Margarita
You will need:
- 8-10 Strawberries, sliced
- 2 Oz Lime Juice
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 2 Oz Triple Sec
- Zest of Lime
- 3-4 Oz of Champagne
- 2 Tbsp Salt
- 2 Leaves Fresh Mint
Rim the glass with lime zest and salt mixed. Muddle Strawberries in a glass with lime. Add tequila, triple sec into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into the glass. Top with champagne and garnish with mint and a strawberry.
Classic Margarita
You will need:
- 2 Oz Tequila
- 1 Oz Lime Juice
- 1/2 Oz Orange Liqueur
- 1/2 Oz Agave Syrup
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a glass with ice and a salted rim. Garnish with a lime wheel.
