Big history buff? Why not go to our great nation’s capital? I can tell you from experience, a trip to Washington, DC is an amazing experience! I took a spring break trip there and we went to three places. The first was the Supreme Court where we got to sit in on a real live hearing. This building is gorgeous and don’t get me started on the bathrooms! I even bought myself a mini gavel keychain, $12 but I love it! Then we went to the Holocaust Museum, it was an interesting, yet sad eye opening experience, but necessary on educating yourself on the plight of others. Finally we walked around and took pictures of the the Capitol building.
This is also a place I can speak on from experience. Mid-day is the best time to go. There are gift shops and little food eateries everywhere. Not to mention the giant waterfall across the way. You also have the option of taking a boat ride under the waterfall. I personally didn’t but one day I just might. One other attraction is the live glass blowing booth. I had never seen glass blowing in my life and in a matter of minutes I watched this man take a hot glob and sculpt it into a beautiful horse!
Just because it’s Vegas doesn’t mean you have to run out and spend money! Go out for a stroll to see the beautiful lights on the Sunset Strip! Visit the Mob Museum and grab a bite at the Champagnes Cafe.
The boardwalk is known for its beautiful views and various shops and restaurants you’ll definitely want to check out.
Have you ever been to a beach with pink sand? Well Horseshoe Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches with gorgeous pink sand and sparkling blue waves!
It’s the main focus for MTV’s Jersey Shore, but it’s more than a club scene there. Enjoy the famous boardwalk by day and some of the finest restaurants by night!
