The museums in Denver are worth going to at least once, and luckily if you check the schedule online you can find days you can go without spending a dime. From Botanic Gardens to Denver Art Museum you can explore Denver’s popular attractions at no cost.

3. Tour Hammond’s Candy Factory

Hammond’s Candy Factory is a must for anyone with a sweet tooth. The store has been in business since 1920’s and offers delicious sweets. You can tour the facility for free.

4. Visit Hudson Gardens

If you can’t attend a free day at Botanic Gardens and don’t want to spend the money on an admission ticket there, consider going to the lesser-known but still beautiful Hudson Gardens. The garden is free of charge all the time and even has a mini garden railroad.

You can tour the state capitol building free of charge in Denver. The capitol building is super beautiful and you’ll learn a bit along the tour.

6. Celestial Seasonings

The popular tea company is near Denver and offers tours of the facility for free. You can see how the tea is made and even try a few samples free of charge at the facility’s location in Boulder.

For 6 to 9 dollars, you can tour the baseball field where Major League Baseball teams play. The tours are about 80 minutes and you can check out the visitor’s clubhouse and Press level.

Learn about the nation’s financial system and money for free at The Money Museum. You can redesign the currency here or see what $30 million dollars look like.

10. Tour Coors Brewery

For 5 to 10 dollars you can see how beer is made at the facility. At the end of the tour, you can have a fresh beer for yourself if you’re old enough.
