At Tri-County Animal Rescue you can go in a room full of cats that are wandering around and play with them for as long as you want. 4. Sing a duet at open mic night.
Coffee District at Atlantic Ave is one of many places that have an open mic night. If singing isn’t your thing you can chill and enjoy some coffee and food. And who knows, if you two go up and sing together it could be the start of something new.
5. Play a few game at Retro Arcade.
Stay away from the basic bowling date by going to the Silverball Museum in Delray Beach.

Not only is Bedner’s a cute farmers market with great food, but almost every weekend they have food trucks and events. If you can’t decide on a place to eat check out Atlantic Avenue and while you’re at it stop by Kilwin’s for some of the best ice cream in town. If you’re feeling a little hipster stop by the Boca Museum of Art in Mizner. Bring your student ID for a discount and grab a bite to eat from one of the restaurants nearby. And if you’re a fan of grilled cheese, go to New York Grilled Cheese which is less than a minute away for the best grilled cheese you’ll ever have. 14. Food Truck Invasion at South County Park.
Every first and third Wednesday of the month check out the South County Park Amphitheater for their food truck event. Not only do they have several trucks to choose from, but they also play a movie at the amphitheater so bring your chairs and blankets!
15. Biking on the Beach!
If you’re up for the drive, head out to Hollywood Beach and rent a bike or a kayak, grab ice cream, and go tanning. This is probably one of the nicest beaches and it’s definitely worth the drive. You can easily spend the entire day without ever getting bored.
