Celebrity style is something that we all try to copy. Everyone has their favorite celebrity style that we love to copy, even if we don’t admit it. From cutting out their photos in magazines to screenshotting their outfits of the days on Instagram we are all guilty of trying to re-create a celebrity’s look. If you’re looking to mix up your celebrity style inspiration then here are some stars you should consider following this fall. Something to keep in mind though, celebrities have access to designers and stylists, you have a coupon to the gap, but we will try our best to help you out.
Something that will never go out of style is a fresh haircut. It can make you feel like a brand new woman. Blake Lively knows this better than anyone else. If you’re looking to copy a celebrity style hair-cut then follow the former Gossip Girl star for inspiration. Blake Lively has styled her hair with curls, braids, backcombing and she even has a few sleek looks for you to try. The secret to Blake Lively’s amazing hair isn’t rocket science, it’s mayonnaise. This might seem gross, but you absolutely have to try it. All you have to do is mix a few drops mayonnaise in with your conditioner and wash your hair as you normally would. Once you step out of the shower you will look and feel just as fabulous as she did in a Simple Favor. Make sure you wash all the mayo out of hair before you leave the house or it will look greasy and you’ll smell bad, not very Blake Lively at all. I’m not suggesting you have to should die your hair blonde this fall, but why not copy her cut or style tips to give yourself a fresh look before school starts.
Normally copying a celebrity style would mean you have to wear heels every day or pants that are uncomfortable. Not when you copy Pitch Perfect star Anna Kendrick’s casual look. This girl knows how to make a pair of jeans work for their money. When stalking the star on Instagram you can tell that she loves to get all dolled up for events, but she is clearly more herself when she is at home wearing a pair of denim slacks. In her book, ‘Scrappy Little Nobody’ Anna Kendrick talks about how she gets everything tailored, even gap t-shirts because it makes the outfit look more put together. This is a mantra you should follow this fall, you don’t have to be dressed up to feel pretty. Invest in a few articles of clothing that express your personal style but that you will feel comfortable wearing every day. Graphic t-shirts, hoodies, jeans and comfortable shoes will look great on you. Make sure that the cut and sizing matches your body so that you don’t slumpy or sloppy. Trust me, you’ll thank me and Anna Kendrick for suggesting you keep your style simple this fall when you have a class at 6:00 am that you have to get ready for.

Brie Larson has been around for a while now, winning her first Oscar in 2016, but her style game came into full play this year during the press tour for her superhero movies Captain Marvel, and Avenger’s End Game. Mixing her normal laid back hippie style with some badass, girl boss, superhero pantsuits and dresses. Since we all couldn’t go five minutes without hearing about the actress, or the success of the first-ever female-led Marvel movie, I think we can admit we started paying more and more attention to her celebrity style. What is so great about Brie Larson’s look is that she always keeps her hair and makeup simple, as to not distract from the gorgeous outfit or girl that is underneath it all. If you’re looking to copy Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel-style then keep your hair and makeup understated aswell, also no flashy jewellery, unless you also have an infinity gauntlet bracelet, then only wear that from now on. then make sure you bring the same amount of confidence that she did to every red carpet to all of your classes. It’s all about how you wear the clothes, not how they wear you.

Author, television and film writer and producer, mother Mindy Kaling has everything on her plate at once. Although her life is probably much more hectic than any normal human, she still finds time to dress for success. Not only does the New York Times Best Selling author dress like the girl boss of our dreams, but she also does it in her own way. Mindy Kaling is not afraid of color or funky designs, it shows off her creative and funny personality. I’m not saying dressing like Mindy Kaling will bring you to her level of success, but what I am saying is dress the way you want to. If you like crazy colors, rock them, if you want to mix and match patterns, do it! Be your own style icon, just like Mindy Kaling.

The new season of Glow is out, and although it is great, I can’t stop staring at Alison Brie. It is not fair that a timeless beauty, style icon, and an amazing actress also gets to be funny. After binging the third season of the wrestling comedy I found myself stalking her Instagram for style tips. Opposite to Brie Larson, the Glow star doesn’t wear flashy clothing but instead focuses on her makeup and hair. Often times Alison Brie will be seen rocking a strong eye and lip to her press events. Try messing around with different makeup looks this fall to glow just like Alison Brie.
