The late-night talk show host has made it clear that he can’t stand Donald Trump as the President. The rest of the Trump family have been the butt of many jokes in Kimmel’s opening monologues on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Also, when Trump took a swipe at the 90th Academy Awards (which Kimmel hosted) being the lowest-rated Oscar telecast ever on Twitter, Kimmel’s response was epic.
In a 2017 interview, the 3-time NBA Champion with the Golden State Warriors called Donald Trump an “ass” when he said the President was an asset to the country “if you remove the ‘et’ from asset”. A few months after the Warriors won the NBA Finals that year, Curry stated that he didn’t want to go the White House Visit (a tradition that college teams and professional teams of all sports do after winning a championship title), which caused Trump to rescind Curry’s invite on Twitter.
Also, Curry was one of many NBA Players (and many athletes of other sports too) to defend fellow NBA Player Lebron James (See #4 below) after Trump insulted James’s intelligence on Twitter in response to the now Laker Star’s 2018 CNN Interview with Don Lemon.
The NBA Superstar is an outspoken Trump many times and not afraid to do so. Twitter had a field day when James called Donald Trump a “bum” on Twitter for rescinding Curry’s (see #3 above) invitation to the White House. The “bum” tweet ended up being the most retweeted tweet of 2017.
James even accused Trump of attempting to divide the country with sports, stating “Sports has never been something that divides people it’s always been something that brings someone together.”
While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the 2017 Golden Globes, the three-time Oscar winner wasn’t afraid to declare her disdain for Donald Trump as she called him out during her acceptance speech for mocking a disabled reporter. In addition, Streep also gave a speech at the 2016 Democratic National Convention in support of the eventual Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton.
Besides portraying Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live (see the photo below) (a performance that Baldwin won an Emmy for), the actor once stated in an interview with Katie Couric, “Everywhere he’s gone, he’s abused power and people who are less powerful than him.”
The model and wife of John Legend (See #8 Below), is another frequent Donald Trump critic and not afraid to troll him over anything on Twitter.
When Trump complained in one of his Twitter rants over the lack of support he was getting from Republicans in 2017, Teigen wrote: “Lolllllll no one likes you.” This caused Trump to block her, which the model posted a screenshot of. However, Donald Trump was forced to legally unblock her after a federal judge ruled that his Twitter Account to be a “public forum” and blocking users (including Teigen) was censoring freedom of speech.
Like his wife Chrissy Teigen (See #7 above), the Grammy-Winning singer also doesn’t support Donald Trump or anything he stands for. Legend has tweeted his stance on the President multiple times on Twitter (but not as much as his wife has).
Handler is another vocal critic of the President and once had Latinx children smash a Donald Trump Piñata (see Handler with the piñata in the photo below) for her Netflix show.
The Golden State Warriors Coach isn’t afraid to openly share his opinions on political issues when asked and was extremely vocal about his opposition towards Donald Trump and his presidential victory. Kerr even stated how disgusted he was over the lack of respect Donald Trump had shown too many and even compared Trump’s campaign performances to The Jerry Springer Show.
At the Women’s March on Washington in 2017, Madonna’s speech went viral for her fiery verbal assault on the President. In response, Trump, who already made his dislike for the singer known on Twitter before running for President, called her “disgusting” and said her speech was “disgraceful for our country”.
Schumer is a vocal advocate for gun control. The actress and comedian is also a cousin of New York Senator and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and came to his defense in an impassioned, lengthy Instagram post after President Donald Trump called him “Fake Tears Chuck” in one of his Twitter rants in 2017.
The singer has voiced her opposition to both Trump and his immigration ban on social media. In addition, she declined to perform at The Halftime Show for Super Bowl LIII to stand in solidarity with NFL Player Colin Kaepernick, who hasn’t played in the NFL since the 2016 season after taking a knee during the National Anthem to raise awareness of police brutality against people of color. Kaepernick’s actions have caused Trump to go on many Twitter tirades in the past.
The Two-Time Oscar winner has made it clear many times how much he hates Donald Trump. Notable instances include De Niro saying he wanted to punch Trump in the face, getting a standing ovation at the 2018 Tony Awards for saying “F*** Trump”, and banning the President from all Nobu Restaurants (De Niro is a co-owner of the Nobu Restaurant Empire).
The Harry Potter author has made it clear multiple times on Twitter how she made it clear she can’t stand Donald Trump. One of her most notable tweets came in December 2015, when Rowling tweeted that “Voldemort was nowhere near as bad”.
