10 Winter Accessories Everyone Needs In Their Wardrobe

It is a constant struggle to choose between looking cute or freezing my ass off. I usual keep myself warm and look like a giant bear under my winter jacket. It is hard to believe that there is a best of both worlds, especially when you’re in Canada and face -20C degrees. Throughout the years, I have learned my lessons to find a balance between warmth and looking good. You should NOT need to sacrifice fashion for warmth in order to look FABULOUS! Here are the 10 winter accessories everyone needs in their wardrobe. So bundle up while staying warm and chic.

1. Turtlenecks

Turtlenecks = must-have! It is a great layering piece that comes in various colours and textures. You can never go wrong with the neutral colours such as, black, grey, and white. The turtleneck itself acts like half a scarf, so you don’t have to wear as many layers too!

These are a great layering piece or wear it on it’s own when it gets warmer!  You can wear it underneath something thinner, such as leggings or jeggings. The extra layers will double up the warmth for those chilly/windy days! The fleece doesn’t feel thick but still gives the same comfort as traditional leggings. This instantly makes it one of the best winter accessories everyone needs in their wardrobe!

Jeans are a staple all year round, but make sure you avoid your usual jeggings. They are mostly made of thin material and will not keep your legs warm! Go on a hunt for jeans that are made with a much thicker denim material. Find ones you can roll up to create a cute cuffed layer.
