St.Patricks day for most university students is a national holiday. Full of green and drinking. Bliss. Here is some St.Patricks Day food to get you feeling a little festive.
The fuzzy leprechaun was introduced to me about three years ago. It is a magical drink that will really let you get into the spirit. It really helps bring the essence of St. Patricks day to life.
Ingredients:
Add the indicated liquids to a shaker with some ice and shake. Pour into a martini glass for class and viola. In reality, it is mostly juice, but that really is a massive perk. Just prepare for the hangover after about 5. It may not be St. Patrick’s Day food but it is pretty good.
Rice Krispies really are a classic for elementary holiday events. I feel as though that could so a lot of good transferred into adulthood.
Ingredients:
First, melt the butter on low heat then add a package of marshmallows until they are melted together. Add the rest of the marshmallows and let them melt half way.
Add in lucky charms and then pour into a buttered baking dish. Let them sit for two hours and then cut into preferred pieces. You are now ready to indulge your munchies at home or bring them to a 5th-grade class event.
A snack mix only suitable for our little friend riding the rainbow. Snack mix is one of the simplest St. Patrick’s Day food things to make if you have some salty and some sweet.
Combine Lucky Charms, Pretzels, green and gold m&ms, and gummies if you are feeling exotic. Go to the dollar store and buy a pot that is meant for gold. Perfect, easy and festive St. Patrick’s Day food.
Nothing really says happy St.Patricks day unless you are drinking by 10 a.m. This is very simple St. Patrick’s Day food to make and quite a bit of fun. Lime jello is the perfect color for Patrick’s day. Add sweetened condensed milk for the second layer. With the milk at a bit of baileys, or a lot of rum.
It really depends on where you want your night to go. Top with the lime jello again for a striped look. Each jello layer takes about 20 minutes to firm up.
To create the base for your tart, you need oats, flaked coconut, almonds, 6 dates, coconut oil, and matcha green tea powder.
Ingredients:
Combine all the ingredients into a food processor and then blend. Make cups using a cupcake tray then add in the filling.
The filling is greek yogurt and blueberries. Refrigerate tarts for an hour or overnight. Grab some green cupcake liners, and you are ready to go.
The shamrock shake is a classic Mcdonalds staple during the St.Patricks day food time. This popular shake can be redone at home with a little boost. A perfect dessert and drink.
Ingredients:
Blend the ingredients together and then top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Add toppings like yogurt pretzels and matcha powder for an extra decorative element. Yum!
